  • If wolves sign Delort I bet Dave Whelan mentions it's because he broke his leg in a FA cup final

Didn't know Delort had broken his leg in a cup final, don't need him then if he's got baggage :-0
  • Or it could just mean that he's a twat knob.

    Fixed.
  • I always thought it was a sign that you had been to borstal or some young offenders unit. What it means in France who knows who cares?
  • Feel a bit sorry for Andy because he has heaped a whole lot of pressure on himself when he does sign for someone, he might just need a red nose and a swirling flower which squirts water to go with that tear if it doesn't pan out right.
I do belive though he should pick a team on the up rather than wigan who will eventually fall back to there natural level of league 1 within 5 years.
  • Why are you all still talking about him? Lol
  • so if he came to us now what he or his dad say about his trip round the Wigan pitch ?

*they got lost on the way to The Valley
    * Mis read the small print and it was the wrong Athletic
    * Sorry we dont speak/read/write English

    None of the above, Goonhater.

Much more likely explanation is they realised early on what a t****r Uwe is and decided to royally wind him up.

Couldn't we get to like the lad if this is the case & he signs for us ?

    Sorry, no!

The bloke is just whoring himself around the Championship. I want someone who WANTS to play for Charlton.

I thought he did, I'm totally confused now, roll on 2300 hours tomorrow night.

That was the impression he gave, but...

If he was so keen, he could have just told Wigan and Wolves "Sorry, but I have a gentleman's agreement with Charlton over a 5 year contract, and they're the club I wish to play for".

And if it's Tours messing about, we all know, that the power in these situations is with the player.

    For example, Diego Poyet...

  • What other forwards does anyone think we'll get? Anyone got the inside track, or have any clue?
  • Delort has signed for Wigan

    Regards
    Colin
  • Not on their os yet. Don't think he'll be moving anywhere until January as I heard he wants to be paraded on the pitch of every championship club before he decides to move to a club in France.
  • Hope the key word in that, we hoped to sign him last week lol
  • 2 pictures posted of him at Wigan so far. One with the chairman and one with an excitable looking fan. In both pictures, Delort has a look on his face that would suggest he don't really wanna be there. If that's the face of someone happy about his new adventure, I'd hate to see what it looks like when he wants to leave......................
  • So they paraded him in front of their fans prior to finishing the deal. How sad is that.
  • the man is obviously only interested in himself and not a team player, I think it would be best to leave well alone

He just wants to move its his club playing silly buggers. He doesn't even know which country he will be in tomorrow let alone which club you can't blame him for just saying yes to anyone at this late stage.
  • Don't fancy him here now, looks like a pikey and behaves like one, enjoy wigan.

  • The Sun is saying the move hasn't been finalised yet because of a row over agents fees.

Isnt a tattoo of a tear drop a sign that you have killed somone?

    Or been raped in jail

What goes on in someone's brain that leads them to conclude that advertising either of those two things is a sensible idea?
  • According to the soccernet website Tours have confirmed that Delort is signing for Wigan today for a fee of 4 million Euros
  • BBB has said he is sad not to be working with AD. AD has been paraded at Wigan. The fat lady is ready to sing but I still can't let go of this thread, hanging on by my fingertips until its on the os.

Ah well, few more hours an this bitter/sweet saga will be over.

In France it means you are a "friend of Marcel Marceau".

Championship side Wigan have completed the signing of striker Andy Delort from French club FC Tours.
The 22-year-old was paraded in front of the Latics fans prior to kick-off at Saturday's game against Birmingham.
