Surely he hasn't actually taken down that statue ?0

The F A must step in on this, it can not go on, just pushing the boundaries to see how much loyal supporters can take. SCANDLOUS.1

For those of us who can't access twitter any chance of a different link or a summary?0

Check out Jason Manford's comments on twitter.
1st Tweet - Just been reading about that odious ferret who runs Blackpool FC, Karl Oyston. Pack your bags lad & leave the club some dignity. #oystonout
2nd Tweet -
Dear fans,
After my earlier post regarding calling Karl Oyston of Blackpool FC an 'odious ferret' I've been contacted by my lawyers.
So I would like to retract my comments, they were unfair and misjudged and I can only apologise for letting myself, my family and my fans down. The last thing I want is to cause upset and to be taken to court over a silly comment.
I can only hope that my apology is accepted by ferrets and ferret owners everywhere. They of course make lovely, loving, loyal pets & are easily trainable & entertaining. To compare them to that total bellend was an insult to ferrets and for that I am sorry. To be even be mentioned in the same sentence to that knuckle-dragging slimy cockmuppet was a miscalculation on my part.
Regards,
Jason Manford
Sorry don't know how to do it the right way but I thought this was brilliant.

Unrelated legal question.
How many people have to have the same view on someone before that person can no longer sue given the opinion must be factual?0 -
Good luck Blackpool fans, the whole situation beggers belief0

Possible explanation of why the statue was removed.

Morning. In the latest news, Sam Oyston has had to make a payout of 20k to a fan. You couldn't really make this up.

I know he's an idiot but that's quality from Nile Ranger.JoshrewCAFC said:0 -
Yes, but is the statue back ?0
-
Can't remember an owner being this deliberately vindictive and spiteful towards their own fans for this amount of time. It's almost been going on for 2 seasons now hasn't it?0
-
The statue is back ! It was slightly damaged in the process. As for Nile, he is being fined the equivalent of his weekly wage each week for non appearance. Allegedly and not that I believe it. Honest.1
-
So presumably they are just keeping hold of Ranger's registration so he can't sign for anyone else as a sort of punishment? Allegedly.0
