Weather looks rubbish - hopefully we'll show up - going to be a long old weekend otherwise, and I'm missing the British Grand prix!
Cywka scored Barnsley's goal against us a few years back didn't he?0 -

The advance party has arrived in Belgium and the first Leffe Blonde has been drunk with a Standard fan talking all things RD & signings0 -
Both training at Sparrows Lane yesterday and on trial, not sure how long they have been with the team for thoSELR_addicks said:Charlton squad for it:

Cywka is in our squad? Interesting, didn't know Barnsley didn't keep hold of him, if he's decent he'd be a solid squad member
Don't know much about this Bikey bloke tho, hope he does well too0 -
What time are the matches on, please?0
-
Finchy's going to have fun with the identification and pronunciation of some of our players - good luck Peter1

Thanks, @chuck - might manage to watch the SL one online, if it doesn't clash too much with the WC!0

Come 9.30pm tomorrow night I'm planning on not only perfect pronunciation of our players but speaking passable Flemish.
It does depend on what time the brewery opens though.1 -

Waiting for plane from stockholm beer in hand. Watching France Germany. Hope to be at St T by beer time tomorrow. Should be fun2

Leaving Heathrow at 6.50am. Been told we can't have a drink in the ground whilst watching the football which is a shame though!0
-
eagerly anticipate reports from you on the spot reporters!0

With six teams playing 45 mins then two playing 90 mins, how will the winners of the cup be decided. The cynic in me thinks that the winners will be whichever team RD wants to be the winners!1

Not sure re kick off times. the official site says "Fans should note that all kick-off times listed are Central European Summer Time."
I think CEST is 1 hour ahead so is the 9.30 kick off today in reality 8.30 here??0 -
Just eaten breakfast in hasselt. Truidin only 20 mins away. Enjoy the day lounging at the pool and thenn footie later.0

Do any games clash with the Belgium Argentina game?0
-
Belgians don't tend to do programmes or teamsheets I think but I spent a match at Louven in the glass fronted bar with a constant supply of beer.0
-
No but some dual watching will be needed if your at home, as the Robben vs Costa Rica game overlaps with the last 15 minutes of us playing SL tonight.BigRedEvil said:Do any games clash with the Belgium Argentina game?

Will be interested to hear the comments of Belgian and other fans about everything, but in particular I wonder what they make of the scheduling of this tournament.GretnaGreenAddick said:
