Concerned. Have no gossip. No wild rumours of us signing marquee players, +15 new signings. Next year it's going to be a very, very different Charlton Athletic.

  • PANIC
  • Shut up clive, you aren't allowed to panic until we are having to drag fans onto the pitch for pre season friendlies.

Until then, nothing but positive comments ;-)

He'll be our top goalscorer next season, and that terrifies me.
  • It would perhaps be nice to just have one PANIC thread where people could dump all their anxieties in one place - a kind of self-help group.
  • Next year will 100% be a very very different charlton. But who knows, it might be a very very good but different charlton. Lets see where we are at the start of the season.

    From an RD sceptic.
  • Cheer up. Transfer window hasn't even opened yet

  • YEAH, we might get £30 for any player registrations we may still hold when it does hethehethehethechrithhywaddle
  • Good pitch, just nobody to play on it!
  • I heard we were joining a 5 aside league next season, which is great news as our legends used to do quite well.
  • It's not necessarily impatience when the club has now lost Yann, Stephens, Hamer and most likely Morrison, Dervite and Poyet, with not a single replacement.
  • Katrien has said they are aiming to do their contract and transfer business (or at least the bulk of it) by the end of June. Let's not get mass nosebleeds every time something negative happens along the way eh?
  • RD isn't stupid, the only way to look after his new investments (pitch and training ground) is to let all the dirty footballers leave so they remain in pristine condition :)

Hmmmm, so in the space of a week, we say good bye to our manager, head of the youth coaching staff, our assistant manager, our No1 keeper, most likely our one of our starting central defenders, and we are not getting our info from the club, its all coming from sky or twitter and we are being told on here not to worry! Never mind though as we are getting a nice new pitch and training ground.
Take my advice mate. If you stress out over every bit of dodgy news you'll be a nervous wreck by the end of June. You can do sweet FA about it anyway, so try to be patient, look for the positives and keep your fingers crossed that Roland isn't a complete fuckwit.

  • I heard a rumour we are joining the national curbsy league next season.
  • but we've got to wait 9 months before we find out who killed Lucy!

    my money's on RD.

i reckon she found out the real reason why Riga wasn't appointed and why Powell was sacked and RD had her exterminated.
  • Hah knew this was going to happen
Mass departures and a load more belgium shite shipped in including a manager, coach,rd's puppet or whatever
Glad we never renewed our s/t as for the 1st time I can honestly
Say this does not feel like Charlton anymore!

    Good who needs you anyway?
  • I'm surprised charlton Life hasn't crashed with the amount of panic threads on here, don't worry , be happy, it might , repeat might ,not happen.
  • Anyone would think the season starts tomorrow. Get a grip some of you. Katrin said judge them on what happens this close season and that they want to get their business done by the end of June if possible. Look at the calendar, that's right it's MAY the 22nd. Wait until 1st July and then we will see if we need to panic or not.
  • IM HUNG LIKE A KNAT

oh sorry was we talking about football ..

Kev, we all want to hear the news and preferably from the horses mouth. The fact that we haven't heard much from the OS means there isn't any yet. They can't publish anything until it's fact whereas Sky and Twitter is full of hearsay and conjecture. Some will be accurate, some will be complete bull.

Negotiations and discussions will take place behind closed doors - they are confidential after all.

When decisions are made they will be published by CAFC, just like every other season. Nothing we can do to influence decisions or the communications. Simple as.
