Tim Sherwood - GONE

been let go by Spurs, perhaps he could move across the river to us, after all our last Spurs loving manager didn't do too badly

  • Pulis probably has the "wrong image" for Spurs fans but would be a good move up for him plus messing up Palace as an added bonus!

absolutely in no f***ing way do I want that clueless, spiteful and genuinely senseless prat in charge of Charlton

Couldn't agree more, and will therefore be absolutely flabbergasted when he gets the job at Norwich or West Brom, which the bookies seem to think is quite likely.
  • I'd take him here.

You've summed him up perfectly there.

  • Was between a rock and a hard place, kinda sad that he hasn't been given a proper year to prove himself. Finished 6th which was good. No doubt another big name will come in, but I doubt they will finish better than 6th next year.
    Funny club.

this doesn't mean a thing given the modern-day accumulation of playing talent at the extreme top end of league football

his teams have been flighty, have been thumped by almost anyone decent, and haven't convinced me in any way that he's anything other than a chancer and a prick
  • Chris Hughton is out of work and has a Spurs background or what about poaching their ex player Pardew from Newcastle? :-)
  • Don't really know much about him.

Why do some despise him and why do others think he'd do a job for us?
  • Ive have him as Charlton manager.
  • I'd have him here no worries, he'll go to Brighton and do very well

Moyes to Spurs? They wanted him last season or the year before I think

Definitely think Sherwood can go on to become a good manager. If Riga doesn't get the job would he fancy a head coach role?

I will put you in the "Maybe" section then

  • No tears shed here for his demise, remember him breaking Johnny Robinsons ankle with a needless challenge in a cup tie years ago.
  • Never would have expected him to be Brighton manager this time yesterday but that said, I think he'll do well down there

Did he? When did this occur?

The Spurs fans would hate Moyes, doesn't exactly play "Glory, Glory" football.

Nailed on for yet another short-lived foreign coach.
  • Pochettino is the favourite.

Are you talking about Sherwood or Riga?
  • Pochettino is the favourite.

I forgot him, he would be a good get for them.

  • The guy loves a public moan, not sure we need that kinda attitude here.
  • Chris Hughton would be my choice out of the English managers. I think Norwich will roast the division if they keep the majority of Fey, Bassong, Ruddy, Hooper and RVW remembers he is a quality striker.

decision to axe him with 6 games to go was crazy and they got what they deserved. Another example of fans becoming deluded about their expectations. They should be happy with a series of 16th placed finishes.

But I doubt we will get a domestic manager.
