Claus Jensen

Anyone know what he does now?

Doubt he went into coaching.

Thought he was a really good player at the time but the kind of ex charlton that doesn't get much of a mention now.

His best playing career was certainly at Charlton looking at the statistics.

One of curbs better signings for sure, he was a unique style of footballer.

And yes, watching Denmark in the Eurovision reminded me of Claus.

What a player, pure class and who remembers THAT chip
  • He sometimes acts as a football pundit on Danish TV. Agree with you all. One of my favourite all time Charlton players.
  • Pundit for 6'eren (Danish tv)
  • His voice stood out the most when he sang on valley floyed road.
  • Class Jensen.

  • One of my best ever away games against Arsenal that day, always loved Classy!
  • He could open a tin of tuna with that right peg.
  • Class act and scored the wonder goal at Highbury happy days!
  • Man Utd at home goal stands out for me. Great player.
  • cultured player and what a team we had then - he sighs!
  • Quality player. The chip against the Arse was a worldy but one of my favourites was his goal against Man City where the defender smacks it against his foot and it loops over Bailey's head from 40 yards out!!

It seems so long ago, almost like it wasn't real. Still, no good longing for the past - onwards and upwards (here's hoping).

Seem to remember it was Nicky Weaver in goal, an absolutely glorious day, shame me and the boy got such a rough reception from the wife when we got in, apparently the friendly signs that where being aimed at the home section was highlighted on match of the day, boy I did hate Weaver that day.

One of my all time fav cafc players, such a quality player on the ball. I remember when we let him go in January to Fulham I was gutted and fuming at the same time.

He left in the summer but agreed, thought it was a big mistake at the time.
  • As it turned out though, we had his best years.
  • Funny we signed him when he was 23, he was already bald and looked 40 odd.

    .

    TV commentator in Denmark apparently.
  • I know he is a high standard acoustic guitar player. Was a cool guy.

I'm guessing he's popular in Denmark via commentary job.

    Move on FFS.

    Come off it, Tom.

I really enjoyed watching his Highbury goal video.
It doesn't mean we're living in the past.
