Thankyou for all your wonderful comments. My brother is taking small steps in the right direction, thank God, so much more than we could have dared hope for on Tuesday night. His sedation has been reduced and we are willing him to open his eyes. Just to clarify I am a sister and not a brother but I still think you Charlton supporters are amazing!!. Please keep saying your prayers you are giving us so much strength. xx
Although you might want to break the scores of the two games he missed to your brother gently once he wakes up, as that might be a bit too much excitement all at once :-)

This is great news. I can't wait for the even better news when he wakes up and you can speak to him again. Keeping everything crossed still.
Good news indeed, small steps as you mention, but HUGE steps in your brothers situation...we will keep our prayers going for him and I'm sure he will make a full recovery. Good luck and god bless
Just logged on to read all the match reports, and see this terrific news. Thinking of you and your family coops, please pass on my best wishes to your brother when he wakes up.

That's good news. Keep us updated on his progress....
I can only add my best wishes, but life can return to near normality, having had my cardiac arrest at home, although it took time we now have season tickets , and am lucky to go most games , good luck to your brother? and you all, Jon.
Sometimes we may disagree and argue amongst ourselves on here But at times like this we unite and prove we are one big Charlton family Keep strong and we all pray for the best Hope he joins us back in the stands very soon

Fingers crossed for your brother and your family, that he may recover fully
Sad news from the Donny game, this just shows what a great job you did the other night Rylo.
More people should be First Aid trained.
