OK Cheers, AFKA. Always think you have to be careful with flying - all very well looking at the flight time but by the time you've got to the airport, wasted time with check-ins etc, then got from the airport to the destination at the other end you may as well have just driven!
(I mean domestic flights of course - I don't propose that it'd be quicker to drive to the Costa Brava!).

It's true, but I'd much rather that than be stuck on a coach seat for 6-ish hours. At least at the airport you've got the freedom of the departure lounge and bars etc....
[cite]Posted By: Rothko[/cite]Got to work out a way of getting Che Hales up to Blackburn and back, wonder if the club will pay for a van for it to travel up in?
Will it not fit in the cargo area under a coach? That or Kings Ferry have coach trailers they take on ski trips etc... maybe it would fit in there?
[cite]Posted By: Curb_It[/cite]The flights are gatwick to blackpool, i believe.
That'd make sense, think Blackppol's as close as you can get by air - Ewood park's about 40 minutes drive from there I think. Definitely a more attractive option than getting the coach.
Yes the checking in process for boro was very quick and straight to the bar within about 20 mins of arriving at the airport. it was slow coming back but that was the organisation of teeside airport.
[quote][cite]Posted By: falconwood_1[/cite]I'll be surprised if we get 4,000, considering we only took 700 when we got promoted....but fair play to the club doing it.
Typically I'm away in Glasgow that weekend....[/quote]
I'm also going to miss this one, Stag do in Dublin.

We're likely to be doing it as a day trip from here - do you want a lift?? (No excuses!!)

The Che flag in the lower tier, and the other in the upper.
