"Also, how come Muslims extreamists can sing during a march from our soilders 'british soilders burn in hell' and our aloud to get away with it beacuse freedom of speach"
I assume when you witnessed this you called the police and they did nothing. In which case you have a legitimate case to take to the PCC.
  • I'm sure you're not homophobic, but you just can't get away with that these days.

As for trying to get into the ground when you've been told not to, sorry mate, but you are a prat for that.

Put it down as a lesson learnt and move on.

Brighton fans may not have been offended by your song, but someone nearby may have.

I bet you are a decent chap. You have just learnt a lesson of life.

Take the above advice and be careful what you say and for god sake take your dad next time!!

I know i was wrong to try and go to the ground, but i was a thing of the moment, just thought I would give it ago, didn't think about the consequence. just think i was hard done by in the first place.

It was plastered all over the news, it happened. we all witnessed it. Stop trying to be a wind up.

I have a feeling this is gonna be more embarrassing than the other thread about Brighton , watch all the blanket and bovril begrade have a moan ! Lol

    why is it embarrassing?
He asked a question, people are answering and just telling him you cant do that these days.
Because fans on here love to take the moral high ground , he barely did anything wrong and was just unlucky that the old bill that nicked him was being a bell end .

Write a letter to the police thanking them for not subjecting you to watching such an abject performance.

How did you get home after getting out at 11.30?

    Stayed at his boyfriends house
hahaha made my day!, no i stayed at my mates in thamesmede for the night, had to pay £40 for taxi from lewishham, also had to run to catch the last train from preston park (brighton)

I'd rather have spent the night banged up than in Thamesmead.

And those that were involved were prosecuted. It is a fabrication that these people 'get away with it'. Just because the Daily Mail has little interest in these prosectutions does not mean they do not happen.

What caused you to sing the thing in the first place?

i didn't get charged, or banned, nothing, I got a caution, i was doing my nut in the cell, 8 hours of looking at the walls, hoping my £400 pound accumulator came in, it didn't.

No they weren't. There was just 3 arrests, two for public disorder and one for fighting a copper. There were a lot more than 3 people involved!

What's with all this prawn sandwich brigade malarkey? So if you are not drunk, pissed out your head and don't like standing then you are a PSB?

I have sent your story round a group of lads in the office, highly amusing thread so massive thumbs up from me.

Next time you go to Brighton dress up like Freddie Mercury (he was the lead singer for a popular beat combo called Queen), you'll be fine then ;o)

If you chanted for a 'laugh', what is funny about it?
Is it to see the amusing expressions of a shocked reaction from the general populace? Is it to exhibit a stunningly original bit of humour to others? Is it to imply that Brighton fans are somewhat diminished compared to the 100% hetrosexual Charlton support...because it is indeed laughable to imply that all Addicks are hetrosexual. Is it funny because the implication is that to a Brighton fan their football is their unfaithful love compared to their partner? It may even be because it is supposed to be a witty chant to an old tune...I can't see how it is particularly funny?
Surely our support can be more original and creative in it's chants, and actually be a bit funny?
