  • There was a local lad played in goal for Sheffield Utd who was a Charlton fan - was it Simon Tracey?
  • There was a local lad played in goal for Sheffield Utd who was a Charlton fan - was it Simon Tracey?

    Correct
  • Curtis Alexander from Dream team was a die hard Charlton fan, never seen him down the Valley though.
  • Steve Brown said that he was Charlton through and through and if you cut him in half you'll see red and white running through him.

Also Martin Pringle loved us so much we kept on spotting him in the crowd long after he stopped playing for us.

Always see this come up on threads like this - assuming it's a joke but no idea why? Unless it is actually fact.

Remember reading benzema used to look out for our results as well cos he was mates with youga so we'll have him aswell.

  • Iniesta has heard of us. He's a Charlton fan aswell of course.

John Robinson? Boyhood Charlton fan? Unsure.

    Rufus? Local lad.

It's an extremely limited collection of professional footballers that grew up supporting Charlton.

He definitely made a comment about watching us when he joined Utd.
