Burnley were nothing special, hitting long ball after long ball. If that's the quality of teams going up then the three relegation spaces for next season are taken.
Hamer 6 He was the only player who seemed up for the fight. Wilson 4.5 poor Morrison 5 lost in the air too many times Devite 6.5 was fairly solid. Wiggins 4 very poor. Just seemed clueless. Green 5 his balls into the box were quite dangerous. Nothing apart from that. Poyet 7 different gravy first half. Faded second. Cousins 6 was extremely open second half. Didn't get the formations. Jackson 6 one of the better players Church 4 couldn't score in a brother. Obika 4 wasn't effective
Ajdarevic 5 tried making things work but other players didn't get it. Reza 4 seemed bored

Hamer - 6 one brilliant save, no chance with goals. Unusually poor distribution. Wilson - 5.5 pegged back, none of the rampaging runs today. Morrison - 5 battered a few times. Not his best. Dervite - 6 defended well, but some awful balls out. Wiggins - 4.5 awful game. Too much spinning around with the ball & making himself dizzy. Green - 4.5 poor. Played silly buggers on the wing, losing the ball that led to Hamer's brilliant save. Added nothing and crosses were too easy for Heaton. Poyet - 8 didn't need to do much to stand out today, but was excellent. Wise to give him a rest, with Tuesday in mind. He'd been battered a bit too. Cousins - 7 battled gamely. Best of the rest after Diego. Jackson - 5.5 found out a few times today. Church - 4 his "pass" on the wing shows he can hit a ball. His "shot" when one on one shows he can't when it matters. Not even the usual running/chasing "bonus" today. Obika - 6 needs a better partner. Won a few good headers, needs to trap closer to his body, but made the effort.

Ref obviously left his cards at home. Burnley like to leave their elbows/arms in and so did we on one occasion. As for the pen, I thought the ref had a poor view with a lot of players ahead of him and the incident. Lino was no use to him and it looked like the Burnley player launched himself over half the Charlton team trying to tackle him. Sure I'll be proved wrong later and it'll be a stonewall!
