The answer is simple. When our defenders get the ball they 'hoof' it miles up in the air to Sponegefoot or the dwarf Reza and the crowd complains. Therefore get a defender to take the corner and get all our players on the far side of the box. Riga take note!!!
If we can't get it past the first man, then lets stick someone on the front post to flick it on. Oldies will remember this routine used to bring us lot's of goals when Phil Warman used to flick the ball on. It can cause mayhem in a defense because they cannot anticipate where the ball will end up. There doesn't seem to be any imagination in our play, hopefully this is something the new guys will bring.
From the book 'A Numbers Game' by statistician Chris Anderson:
"The data show that, on average, about 20.5% of all corners (that's 1 in 5) led to a shot ...
...On average, about 11% or 1 in 9 shots created from corners produce goals...
...On average, the data show that a corner is good for (drumroll ....) 0.022 goals. This means that the average EPL team scores 1 goal from a corner about every 10 games."
I mention this in the Huddersfield's post match tread. Jackson all the corners from our left wing, thus they were all out swingers, we need to mix it about and throw some in swingers in as well.
Agreed, his most dangerous corners were the inswingers from the right hand side, we need a right footer to take corners from the left hand side to vary things a bit.

Don't think Jackson has scored a free kick in over 2 years.
