Expecting the worst tonight. Reckon a 0-2 defeat with Huddesfield, using the same tactics used by every other manager. Stop the space in behind and counter on us.
There's not one single footballing reason that Thurham deserves a place tonight in front of Ben Hamer. But am expecting to see that joker tonight and the other network players starting
I hope AA starts. Also if Nego plays it should mean Wilson will play right wing which may give us a more attacking threat. I'd also start Reza. But I wouldn't start Thuram.
Gonna be a strange atmosphere tonight I reckon. Hopefully we'll have a (small) tribute to CP then concentrate on getting fully behind the boys for the rest of the game and not waste our energy berating the board/manager. If people wish to show their discontent towards them, I'd suggest doing so outside the main entrance after the game.
The team needs our backing more than ever. As we've seen in the past, evening games can create a cracking atmosphere when we all get behind the team (Cardiff game being a prime example).
I'll be there giving it my all................................................
I didn't go to Wigan so have not seen Nego .However,I would like to have Wilson moved to RM as it would give us a better balance in my view,so I would not be disappointed if he played.
Thuram. I do not think he is a bad Keeper per se, but clearly has not acclimatised to English football yet. He had an excellent reputation in the French Ligue One last season.Playing him would be a massive and unnecessary risk in my view.
AA needs to play
Reza another one who should be given a chance in my view.
Anil Koc / Polish Pete both played for the U21's yesterday.possibly on the bench?
I will be there tonight – but with mixed feelings.
I think hearing the team line-up will be a defining moment.
I sincerely hope that Hamer will take up his rightful position, but should he be on the bench, then I think that will answer a lot of questions.
For a start, it will confirm who is picking the team and what we can expect of Mr Riga for the remainder of the season. And it could possibly mean that we will have seen the last of Hamer in a Charlton shirt.
Should Thuram start, then I will have a degree of sympathy for him as he will surely be aware that only the Huddersfield fans will be pleased to see him between the sticks. And he may well be aware that the coaching staff believe him to be more suited to playing in the Conference rather than the Championship, and that his team mates may harbour a degree of resentment at his inclusion.
Not the best preparation for a match as important as this one.
For these reasons alone, I think it imperative that Hamer starts.
Are you in the upper north, Rambeau? There's a bloke there who gets very, very angry and I genuinely worry about him. His face turns purple and I fear the worst.
I won't be going tonight. I just can't face it. Maybe I'm gutless, or maybe the club I love no longer exists. The prospect of going down doesn't really bother me. I'd support Charlton if they were a Sunday league team, but if they're just a reserve team for a Belgian club they're no longer Charlton. I will NEVER support Standard Liege.
One thing that is likely is that a loss will mean some fans saying "see told you so" and the opposite view saying "it's only one game to early to judge". A win will mean some fans saying "see I told you so" and the opposite view saying "it's only one game to early to judge".
Got a weird feeling travelling to the game, I'm not looking forward to it but at the same time I'm excited because I'm interested in what it is going to be like and team selection etc ...
Interesting line up, bit of attacking threat. Marvin might just have a point to prove and was never gonna give much effort under Powell after being sidelined for so long...
Who would play on the right? (Reza in a attacking winger role)
Is it a 4-2-3-1 Hamer; Wilson, Dervite, Morrison, Wiggins; Poyet, Jackson; Reza, Ajdarevic, Harriott; Sordell
If we do win tonight it be down to the players, they shouldn't just do it for Powell or impress the new manager and the owner. They should do it for themselves prove they have what it takes to play and win at this level.
Huddersfield probably cannot believe the circus we are putting on before this match and must feel it is a good time to play us. And it is 2-0 to Huddersfield.

Bizarre.
Not a bad looking team...
