don't think you've thought this one through CE, if people don't 'sign' then it will give the impression that only you / very few people are bothered / think it is wrong.
As said, anyone with an ounce of common would have seen that this simply won't work in its current form, so it will either take the stubborn approach, alienate a lot of people and be financially poor, or it will be scrapped / re-worked.
Yes, but the decision makers, obviously haven't got enough common sense or if they have they don't give a flying **** about the fans, that will be kicked out of their seats & the existing Crossbar members, who will no longer be able to attend.
The fact that everyone in the 1st 6 rows of The North Upper will be ejected from their seats, unless they purchase a Crossbars ticket, at the cost of £530, instead of the existing £300 after 9th April 2014.
So unless you renew by 9th April, you will have to pay £530 instead of £300 ?
Additionally, present members of Crossbars will no longer be allowed membership, unless they move from The East, West, Lower North or non crossbars areas in The North Upper, to the Crossbars S/T area in the upper north.

Again, before starting your position - have you seen this link;
"We spoke to Ben Kensell Chief Commercial Officer at the Valley to get clarification. •CAFC are keen to get better use of the Cross Bars Lounges area which is massively under subscribed •Fans who renew before the early bird deadline April 9th 2014 in the affected rows will not* have to buy the combination ticket this year.
It is not clear yet what the club is proposing for Season 2015-16 but going forward CAS Trust strongly urges the club to retain this* option for existing Season Ticket Holders in affected seats for subsequent seasons."
Yes I have thank you & unless fans make it clear, that they strongly object (if they do), then the plans will go ahead.
And if fans don't support their fellow fans, when they are being shafted, then you may well be next, when another ill thought through scheme appears.
But how are we (I sit in the first few rows of the NU too) being "shafted" ? We can renew at our current price or take the Crossbars package. It's just been communicated badly (or not at all other than on the Trust site).
If enough fans want to take up The Crossbars S/T option, then under the present proposals, we will be moved from season commencing 2015/16, unless the club change their plans for the Crossbars S/T area.

It's in the plan, in colour !
Sorry - I've completely missed the bit about forcing people to move in 2015/16, where have they stated that ? Madness if so.
Well that either takes you into a completely different stand (North Lower) or further back behind your now-empty seats and I very much doubt there are enough empty seats behind us to accommodate everyone from the front 6 rows. Which means you'll need to move stand completely, which will be a worse view for more money. No thanks!

You have nearly 18 months to come to terms with it.
Dont forget, if i want to get Crossbars tickets, i am now paying an extra £230 instead of the £100 i would have paid. My son who is 10 would have to pay an extra £150 instead of the £100 so he can have free drinks and a programme. Hmmmm i think not!
What is the problem? I sit in the West Stand Upper and am a Cross Bar Member. They offered me the new package with a seat in the North Upper, I declined to move and have been assured it doesn't effect my membership of Cross Bar. By all means seek clarification but a petition seems OTT.

I think that's the thing - the proposals aren't as bad as they first sound, they just haven't been communicated quite as clearly as perhaps they could have.

Red Robin said :-I received a call yesterday from the club to let me know that as an existing Crossbars patron, things for next season are changing . Currently I have a season ticket in the east stand and pay for crossbars membership.
As from next season unless I move to what is now being described as " an Exclusive seat" in the front two rows of the North Upper, I will not longer be able to use the Cross bars lounge . The cost if I choose to move is £530. The alternative I am being offered is to take up a revamped millennium suite lounge ticket for £250
I am totally fuming at this , firstly the fact that I am being told what area of the ground I need to sit in to continue going into a lounge that I have been paying for since it's opening . Secondly, the west stand facility means walking al the way round the ground upon arriving on match day from where I park, plus walking all the way round the ground again to the east stand.
Thanks to the Trust and others common sense seems to be prevailing now for one season at least.
More direct action may be required this time next year.....
No Len. As it stands, unless you renew by 9th April 2014, you will be forced to pay an extra £230 to keep your seat. The newly named, as of today, Crossbars S/T where you and I sit will cost £530 from 10th April 2014. £300 before.
The more people that take up the Crossbars S/T, the more chance that everyone in the first 6 rows will be moved.

so you (or anyone else) wont mind being moved if those displaced from those six rows choose your seat.
or perhaps they'd be so kind to let you keep your seat if you weigh them in £230
The info on the OS says you don't have to move anyway, it just would be advisable for busy times. Maybe that is an amendment, but who cares... Everyone should be happy now.

No we don't. We have 1 month to come to terms with it.
We can renew for £300 up to 9th April 2014. After that it will cost £530 & if it costs £530 after 9th April, it will cost the same next season, unless the decision is rethought by someone with the ability to think things through coherantly.
