i think we will beat sheff utd and finish somewhere like 17th or 18th

I was convinced we'd win the 1/4 final, I have never forgiven Harriot for that shocking miss at 0-0.
I'm still not over the Wycombe defeat in the league cup quarter final.

Survival, definitely. We don't want to be back in that shite league again!

Survival. The consequences of going down have been witnessed too many times in my lifetime. No one remembers losing semi-finalists and joint second loser means nothing.

Can’t get my head round the question tbh - I’d sooner not get into a semi final if we were gonna lose it

This is such an odd thread to have resurfaced. It was from 2014 when it was a genuine option not a hypothetical pre season question. We hadn't been to Wembley this century when the question was asked and we ended up staying up fairly comfortably, a totally different scenario to now

It was because I searched the word ’survivor’ after the Air India crash.

Quite possibly, in relative terms, one of the worst performances from a Charlton team I’ve ever seen. I saw Rommedahl, who was particularly bad, at Bluewater the next day and had to really hold myself back from having a go at him. Obviously I didn’t but it’s the closest I’ve ever come to having a pop at a player. That was the night it was clear they just weren’t interested in playing for Reed and that we were doomed.
