What do you know about Sheffield United Team?

We know they are on a roll, full of confidence and will undoubtably be our toughest game in the competition so far. We also know they will be as up for it as any team can be. On top of that, we know that they are beatable - in the sense that Man City Away or Arsenal away are not. We have won all of our ties away and we know we can go there and win too. It doesn't mean we will, but we know we can. Roll on Sunday is what I say.

When we won the league, we broke Sheffield in 2 games. We have something over the city and deep down United know it! I think they will be more nervous than us.
  • Must admit, It's not often I'll agree with a pig, but he's right about the curry house, Butlers (Broad Lane) is spot on.
  • OP, are there any decent Chinese restaurants you could recommend?

When we went couple of weeks ago we went to a buffet one called Landmark, which was nice, if that's your thing. wasn't far from main middle of town.
  • Cheers Stu. Not so much my thing as my son's. Sounds good.

I almost feel like saying the place is awful now...!!

Candy Town is a good one. Near Bramall Lane and Jurys Inn (thats where about 7000k of you are stopping isn't it?!). Its on London Road, right at the beginning of it as you head away from the city centre.
  • Candy Town - Are you sure that's not a brothel? ;-)

    Excellent. Cheers, Magic.
  • Ask to see the 'Specials' menu and find out...!

No worries, enjoy Saturday and the build up to the game.
  • They are on a great run and i'm not surprised as Nigel Clough did a great job at Burton and laid the foundations for the success Derby are having right now. Always liked Sheffield United since that documentary called 'United we stand'.

  • Chers for the Candy Town recommendation @Magic1889 - very good indeed. Pity I had to witness the "football" in order to go there.
  • Sorry stig I missed your post, China Red and Zing Vaa are great but Candy town is decent too.
