A little bit of reverse psychology here (to no one in particular) - if our home gates should be proportional to our away following, would you prefer it if we got 10,000 at home?
Yes we do have a lot of premiership followers as do so many other clubs, but I enjoy seeing the Valley full and would be far more upset at away fans singing "is that all you get at home" with any justification. I admit to moaning a little about people who don't sing or try to create a good atmosphere, but it's still better than me singing surrounded by a load of empty seats.
Forums like this and general encouragement will get new or floating fans to become more committed when they feel part of the group or can link up safely with fans who put in the extra effort to support the club. In time this may spread to going away as well.
