Christ almighty England must win the World Cup we have so many top notch managers and coaches just on this site I'm surprised it's even a question. Perhaps we should ban SCP from picking a team until all the numpty's on here have had their say.
If we lose today it will be because of the poor selection in midfield, and i think that powell will get torn apart if that happens
We have very few options in midfield, and that isn't Powell's fault.
But who starts on the pitch is his fault, playing 4 cms against Bham at home when we are in desperate need of 3 points is hardly giving us hope for a result (I will gladly eat copious amounts of humble pie, but have a terryfying fear I won't )
People criticising the team selection, who would you have picked instead? Genuinely interested.
Hopefully the fact that ceddy comes in for loic will finally put to bed the conspiracy theories about who is picking the team.
The right back on the bench at right back, Wilson right mid and Cousins in the centre with Poyet (if he persists with the outdated 4-4-2 formation!). Said on other threads I would like to see 4-2-3-1 and we have players to fit into that setup.
Fingers crossed we do get the win or CP will be crucified!
Picturing in my mind GreenhitheRed rummaging around in the shed for a hammer and some nails whilst getting the car keys ready to pop round the timber yard at half time if the score is still nil nil
CP will want to play 2 forwards, so he'll be trying to ensure we have numbers in CM, probably diamond - with the 2 fullbacks overlapping to provide width.
As I said before, the team is set up to play a passing game.
If it ain't working, on comes Green to provide width and crosses for Peter Parsley - to give the Brum defence something different to deal with.
Afternoon all. Ghoochannejhad, Parzyszek and Ajdarevic are still hard to get my hands around but here's hoping. Will be updating from a Birmingham perspective if possible; if not I'll just get what I can down for you.

So Robert Lee's son lines up for Birmingham today. I suppose his dad will be in the West Stand looking at the ground that he helped to pay for with his transfer all those years ago.

With 2 DMs and 3 CMs further forward, whether that includes Burke playing as a conventional winger, we shall see.
