PIOTR PARZYSZEK WHERE ARE YOU

I have looked, but cannot find anyone else asking this question, Why was he not in the squad today? He has been playing recently, so was match fit. OS said available for Wigan. When I asked about international clearance, someone said just
simple matter. So where was he? Does anyone have an answer?

  • Dark forces.
  • Peter the painter was just finishing off the decorating. Too much ladder work. He said his legs were aching. He was on phone constantly trying to get some reinforcements for next week so he can play against brum.
  • He only signed yesterday, he might have had all of a days training with the squad in which case it would have been a bit dangerous to throw him into a game that early. Although he still would've been better than Sordell.

strange comment seeing as he was the only one in our team to score
  • ON THE FIRST PLANE BACK TOO HOLLAND,OR IS IT BRUSSELS.
    WELCOME TO STANDARD.
  • When he signed they said he could play tomorrow ie today IF international clearance was received on time. Maybe that is the reason why.
  • Going straight on loan to Bournemouth or Brighton!

Only one who scored but also the laziest player on the pitch. He only looks interested when he's got a clear run at goal and no challenges at all, otherwise he looked scared. Admittedly he took his first chance excellently but for the next 90 odd minutes I don't think he jumped for a single ball, wasted another 1-1 and in the second half whimped out of what was going to be a 50-50 ball with a defender because the other guy was bigger than him when it was at least a half-chance to score.
  • I realise my heading asked for the X-files type answers, but seriously am I the only one who is interested as to why he did not play?
  • His international clearance didn't go through in time.
  • Thank you dickplumb
  • My money is on what large said - international clearance wasn't received in time?

I assumed this was the case, but have the club actually confirmed that?

Trawling through the causal racism on here

I'd say it was just stereotyping in all honesty.
  • Did wonder why he was not on the bench even yesterday!!!

Do they have to run every detail by the fans? Most clubs give a lot less of an inside view than CAFC. Sometimes I feel our fans are spoilt.

Too many people slate decisions that are often unavoidable and out of Chris Powells hands. At 12.00 noon yesterday Chris couldn't even name his Team - my Husband was still waiting for the final International clearance to make it legal for us to play Reza, Loic or Pietr. The English FA had completed their work but it was the equivalent organisations abroad who held things up. This is the kind of problems caused by overseas transfers that normally we as supporters are unaware of yet people make judgements based on what they see not what they know. Problems like this show how unsettling it can be for a Manager and his Players. I know this doesn't occur every week but there is so much goes on in the background that we can never comprehend. Sometimes we just have to accept that everything is done for a reason.

Cheers for that input, all the best to Chris Parkes and trying to get the KNVB to get the work done on time on a friday when everyone knocks off early in Holland.
  • Thank you Sue for the info, but I queried on Friday that players had to be registered by noon to play Saturday and was told no. Are you saying this is the case
