Thing is, for most (if not all) of us, the worse player we think we've seen play first team football for Charlton would be head and shoulders above us in abality.
no way
Pawel abbott Simon Francis
Ive got more tekker than paul bacon ever had.guy couldnt do more than 5 keepy uppys in the warm up
I always saw myself as very much a Cantona type forward - so that would be Yann in our current team - but the truth is that my 15 stone lumbering physique probably had more in common with Mark McCammon or Mike Small.
In my early years I played in central midfield and was in the mould of Keith Jones, an up and down the pitch midfielder who broke up play. Later moved to right back and was in the mould of Danny Mills and had the lack of hair to go with it. Nowadays I am just in the mould of a jelly. Unfortuantely had to give up playing at 28 cause of knee injuries and really miss playing.

Love that. Mould of a jelly
sounds like you suffered from david whyte-itis who in one post season went from greased lightening to greasy chip butty
do you also get pissed up proper and miss training the next day because you broke into a ford fiesta and fell asleep after a night in Charlie Chans but tell Curbs some cock and bull story only for it to get blurted out at the POTY do that season
Not CAFC but Paul Dickov , lairy irritating little #u£T who didn't stop moaning at ref but would pop up with decent goal and wind up opposition. A few on here will verify that Loved him
I played at a low level (Bromley & Orpington 2nd div as high as i ever played), however in style i was like Jackson now, tried my hardest, played CM, popped up and scored a few goals but most of the time off the pace.
How long ago? what team did you play for? It's the league I have played last 10 years.
I would probably say Mark Kinsella (heart, drive and a decent range of passing) in my best position of Central Midfield but more often that not I have to play centre half and in that case Eddie Youds (Heart, good in the air and like a drink before and after the games)
When i was a youngster i played for Riverview Youth in Gravesend, scored a ton of goals and Arthur Horsfield came and watched a few times...said i could be the new Derek Hales....chose engineering over football in the end.... AKA i wasnt good enough.
Scored my first and only ever hatrick against them, so on that basis a much paler Bradley wright Phillips.

Allegedly (but you and me know its true Lukey eh)
A few on here will verify that
Loved him
Saturday/Sunday league - dean Kiely. Super shot stopper but only came for a cross once and didn't like it so stayed on my line thereafter. Ugly too.
