Alnwick - 7.5 Kicking a bit wayward but conditions certainly didn't help. Brilliant penalty save. That goes in, we lose.

Solly - 7.5 Getting up to speed, solid. Quality moment when that idiot Nouble tried to get him to hurry up with a throw-in, so kicked the ball at him. Solly just let it hit him to ensure more time was wasted. Nouble then did the same thing again, with the ball once again ending up further away than it originally was. Nouble was booked. Useless clown.

Morrison - 6.5 Didn't play too badly on the whole, but he could have cleared the cross which hit Wood. Maybe that's a bit harsh..

Wood - 6.5 Looks to me to be our best centre-half. Strong in the tackle and won more than his fair share in the air.

Wiggins - 7 When will the opposition learn? You can't tap the ball past him and run round the other side. Never works! As always, a good attacking threat. Won a lot of corners.

Wilson - 5.5 His worst game in recent weeks for me. Didn't really notice him. No surprised he was substituted.

Cousins - 7 Another great performance. Nothing particularly spectacular, just tidy and kept the ball moving.

Stephens - 7.5 Have criticised the guy a lot previously but he's been one of, if not our best player since September. A couple of great deliveries just crying out for a touch.

Stewart - 6.5 Not really his afternoon but kept plugging away and was double-marked almost every time he received the ball.

Kermorgant - 7 Typical Yann performance. Neat touches and flicks, strong on the ball, a theatrical fall, everything! Their number 6 gave him a good contest in the air but Kermo had the beating of him - as is often the case.

Sordell - 5 Pretty poor. Drifts out of the game too easily. Chants of "Simon Church, Simon Church" after about 25 minutes told its own story (I wasn't involved in said chants, though).

Cook - 6.5 Put in a great shift, looks very nippy over short distances. Put himself about and looked lively. Promising.
    Church n/a
Jackson - Love him, and his celebration at the end!

  • Alnwick 7
Solly 6.5 At fault for the goal, out of position a lot, but some great passes in 2nd half
Morrison 6.5 Limited, but covering for full backs a lot
Wood 5.5 Not really a game to remember, despite the O.G.
    Wiggins 6.5
    Wilson 6.5
Cousins 6 Definitely an off-day, god knows he's allowed one
Stephens 7 Mostly class, and constantly geeing up the team (like the captain should be)
Stewart 4 Just not good enough
    Kermorgant 7
Sordell 6 Still not enough time to judge - looked lively, but that's probably it now

Cook 7 Very impressed - some mistakes, but lively, very eager and read things well
  • Alnwick 8 kicking not good but great save which gave us a chance
    Solly 7
    Morrison 6.5
Wood 6 shaky start but improved
Wiggins 6 some good stuff but quite a few mistakes as well
    Wilson 6
    Cousins 6
    Stephens 7
    Stewart 6
    Kermorgant 7
Sordell 6.5 thought he showed some good touches

Cook 6.5 very surprised to see him come on. Had a great chance to play Wilson in but fluffed the pass. Better than I expected though.

  • Alnwick - 7 not at fault for the goal great pen save

Solly - 7 great going forward, solid at the back. Quality

    Morrison - 6.5 Solid show

Wood - 6.5 Not at fault for the o.g, bit slow though

Wiggins - 7 fatherhood agrees with him, was quite a threat

Wilson - 4 poor, weak allowing Ipswich the ball that lead to the goal

Cousins - 6.5 solid, got stuck in

Stephens - 7 put the effort in, good showing

Stewart - 6 didn't work well with wiggins, but some quality in the crosses

Kermorgant 7 solid with quality touches

Sordell - 5 Mixed bag. Started badly, but showed some very promising touches before limping out

Cook - 6.5 grew into it, caused a bit of danger
    Church ineffective
    Jackson - effective
Ref typical Shatwell performance, everybody's favourite little demoted bedwetter called everything wrong. Chants of cheat were unfair as he was evenly incompetent.
  • Ever since he became a ref in the bigger leagues his ego inflated

Alnwick - Penalty save changed the game. 8.5/10

Solly - Ran his heart out and looked well up for the battle. 7.5/10

Morrison - Morrison lead the team from the back. Not much got past him. One of the best games I've seen him have. 8/10

Wood - OG was unlucky but looked solid in the air. 7/10

Wiggins - Got forward and troubled the Ipswich full backs. Glad to have him back in the side. 7.5/10

Wilson - Didn't look quite as sharp as previous game. Left his man unmarked which lead to the goal. 6/10

Cousins - Solid & Strong throughout. Looked composed on the ball. 7/10

Stephens - Has improved dramatically over the last few months. Moved the ball well. 7/10

Stewart - Always looking to attack the full backs. Looked a little tired. 6.5/10

Kermorgant - The talisman, always looks dangerous when he picks up the ball. Utter madness how his contract hasn't been sorted out. 8/10

Sordell - The jury is still out on Sordell. Unlucky with the injury. 6/10

Cook - Worked hard, looked indecisive at important moments. Glad to see him have a chance. 6/10

  • Alnwick 7 Good performance, certainly prefer him to Hamer.
Solly 7 We look a much better side with him in it.
    Morrison 7 Very solid.
Wood 6 A few errors early on, culminating in his own goal. Fortunately, that proved to be the turning point.
Wiggins 6 Again, got off to a shaky start but improved as game went on.
Wilson 6 Promising start but seemed to fade.
Cousins 7 Still needs to work on his defensive covering but contributes a lot to the game.
Stephens 7 Tries to be too clever at times but still a good performance.
Stewart 6 Ipswich made sure he was kept in check but he was still reasonable.
    Kermorgant 7 Typical Yann performance.
Sordell 6 Looked to add something extra to the team with some nice touches. Shame he injured himself.

Cook 7 Looked quite sharp and did plenty of running.
