It was all very embarrassing tbh
One fella marched over from his seat which was a good few rows away with chest pumped out another came over from another block as well, I found it all a bit Danny Dyer!

Please tell me you are joking, reports above say the old guy was 70!!
  • Sad sight seeing Charlton fans squaring up to each other

Reading twitter last night our own fans offering each other out and wanting to arrange to meet up for a fight. Ridiculous!!

We're in a scrap here and we all need to stick together, not fight against each other!!
  • He was much younger than 70

hindsight and that your right of course Charlton dont need his type

+40 years of following the club with his brothers and now sons and daughter --now traveling up from hampshire-----and having the actual front to be pised off no one was singing .

Sadly the world has these low life people in existence.

Low life??? No just someone trying to support his team who'd prob had a bit too much to drink. Then when being retaliated by the NU some guys sat near him decided to try shut him up, if they'd just ignored him he would of sat down or went back to the bar. He had a fair point thou, crowd, although a good turn out, were awful today. Myself included in that. The first goal took stuffing out of an already quiet valley.

Was the only 'entertainment' on offer at the valley today sadly, a drunk old boy being escorted out by almost 20 stewards and 3 police officers, ridiculous
Yes being aggressive and confrontational in front of small children to me is disgusting.

Sorry your standards are so different.

GH - was he just asked to leave or any longer term repurcussions ?
  • Loads of morons support every club unfortunately (not passing judgement of this guy in particular as I didn't see what happened). I can't sit in the north upper anymore, after 7 years of sitting in h block the number of idiots got too much. It's a shame as plenty of decent people there just wanting to be among the atmosphere. We got caught up in one of the police escorts of potential 'trouble fans' at loftus road and it was embarrassing - 40+ year old men trying to kick off with qpr fans minding their own business in a cafe and mouthing off at passing cars. Football attracts them unfortunately.

Im not saying its ok for younger fans to square up to him at all! I just didnt want it coming me and my young kids that were near to it
  • If he is a chunky bald fella he is often in the NW quadrant acting in the same way, drunk, moaning, swearing and shouting loudly in an area where there are a lot of young kids. I'm not so precious that I don't expect to hear swearing at a football match, but he takes it to an unacceptable level in my opinion.
