ball in, headed half away, we clear, but yeovil get it, play long but too long, we break, lots upfield, but yeovil get it with upson, but we get a throw from it all.
We get fouled again, yann stopped there, no advantage given. our FK. jacko, 40 yards, down middle, cleared tho, but stewart involved, curch, Jordan, Wilson, we keep it deep, morro long, and yeovil half clear, dale and morrow, aiggy and cousins, jacko now, lots of passing, wide to stew, runs in, but is stopped and yeovil clear.
If i was the yeovil team i would be laughing my head off
How many times have you seen Sordell put in a good shift, apart from (apparently) Tuesday?
Same with Green. How many chances has he had, and let us down. He's lucky we are paying his wages.
I have watched Sordell for the few minutes he gets at home all season and at Reading, and he constantly makes runs, however he is not a Kermogant so sticking needless balls up to his head is a waste and he is not a Church running around like a headless chicken.
If we were not going to play a formation or style to maximise this assets potential then we should never have brought him in, but we have got him so we should be trying to get the best out of him. Can you imagine a factory manager bringing in a piece of kit costing a 5 figure sum a week (allegedly) and saying he can't get it to work and using the cheap pilot machine instead, even though it is not achieving the required level of productivity?
We have not scored in 3 out of the last 4 games and we are sinking fast, so the job of the management is to do something to change this and playing a fellow relegation team is an ideal opportunity to do this.
Sordell may not be the answer but playing the same team with one change which is playing Jackson in a role that CP said he would NEVER play him in again is not the answer.
That said I think we can come away with something, but it may need CP to actually be brave during the match to achieve it.
Agree that Green should not be picking up a wage.
BTW How many times have you seen the team this season?
Wiggy throw, stew has it, cross, headed away, kept in and yeovil break, jacko there, but yeovil continue, lundstrum and morgan involved, cross, but deflected for a corner. danger here from set pievce.
Davis to take it, signal, in, low, we hack out, but yeovil, wiggy hit by ball, but now safe, a yeovil throw, miller back to goal, but wiggy only half cleared, long range shot at ben A
