Cheers for the updates, i have had a busy weekend but should be back watching or following results more this week. Shame Ronnie is out but from the first frame i assumed he was having an off day and might struggle. Surprised he got to a decider really, i was flicking over with footy and darts but credit to Ursenbacher he took the game to Ronnie and did well.
Pang Junxu is doing really well for his first season on tour, got to the last 16 of the European Masters before losing to Robertson, beating Hawkins along the way.
He qualified for the German Masters after beating Mark Allen.
Now into the last 16 at the UK Championship, beating, Tom Ford, Noppon Saengkham and Stephen Maguire on the way.
I spoke the other day about how great it would be for Doherty to make it into the Grand Prix well Pang Junxu is currently in the top 32 on the one year list, that would be some achievement to make a Coral Series Event in your first year as a pro player
Normally I would agree, I would also be hoping McGill beats Robertson to make Selbys path easier.
However I am so desperate to see Theppy get to The Masters and his early exit this event has really pushed made it tough, so now I really wanna see wins over the next couple of days for
Xiao Guodong, Robertson, Wilson and Jamie Jones
The problem is that all Perry needs is to get to the semis to go above Theppy and that quarter of the draw has really opened.
So Theppy who is currently in 15th, knows if Perry does get to the semis he is in 16th and right on the edge and all it takes is one of the other players close to him to also make the semi and he wont be there.
Obviously its his own fault he is in this position after losing so early this event but I really hope he makes it
I watched the Robbo v Mcgill match, from 4-2 down and all of a sudden Mcgill struggled then Robbo was pretty faultless. Good to see Robbo is in a good head space, he was asked if he would be watching the later games, he responded no chance as he will be gaming in the evening with his mates lol
I didn't watch the evening been trying to watch a bit of the Mosconi, also mates on Pro clubs fifa so hard to follow everything, thats not even with the football thrown in.
