  • Hamer 5
    Wilson 6.5
    Morrison 6
    Dervite 5.5
    Wiggins 7
    Stewart 6
    Cousins 6
    Jackson 7.5
    Stephens 7
    Harriott 6
    Church 7

Yann - Not fit, used in hope!

  • Hamer 6 Personally, I didn't think he could have done better for the goals but he needs to be more commanding in his area.
Wilson 7 Good game apart from two dodgy back passes that almost got stuck in the mud.
    Morrison 7 Good game
Dervite 6 Where was he when they scored their first? Wilson was left covering two men.
Wiggins 8 The Wiggins of old!
Stewart 6 Apart from the well-taken goal, did not contribute a great deal, particularly in the 2nd half.
Cousins 7 Quite tidy but a little "lightweight".
Jackson 8 Another good performance, carrying on from last week.
Stephens 7 If only he could improve his shooting, he would be brilliant. You just know the ball is going to end up in the stands.
Harriott 7 Offered something we having been lacking of late - someone who can shoot at goal! Unlucky to be subbed.
Church 8 Brilliant assist for the second goal. Unlucky not to score today.

Yann 4 Clearly not ready yet for a return to the team. First time I've ever known him not win a single header!

T'ref 4 I normally try not to criticise refs but he gave us absolutely nothing and Leeds everything!
  • Hamer 5.5 Should have come and claimed the ball for their 3rd goal; suspect positioning for the 4th
Wilson 6.5 First time I think we've missed Solly. Chris might have done a better job on McCormack.
Morrison 7 Solid and tried hard to prompt going forward
Dervite 5 Shocking at passing, was awful the whole match
Wiggins 8.5 Superb defensively and offensively. Our MoM by a mile
Stewart 6 Poor but scored a stupendous goal
Cousins 6.5 Seems to have lost that dominant look he had when he first came into the team
Jackson 8 Very good box to box performance
    Stephens 7 Another sound display
Harriot 5 Where oh where has last season's Callum gone? At the moment, he couldn't beat my old nan and she's been dead 30 years.
Church 7.5 Loads of energy and a great assist for Jacko.

Yann - 5 but good to get him some game time. He'll be back up in the 8s and 9s before long

    Wiggins - 7
    Stewart - 5
    Cousins - 7
    Jackson - 5
    Stephens - 6
    Harriott - 6
    Church - 7

    Yann - 4
  • Hamer - 6 - Hmm. Benefit of the doubt, 4 clean sheets in a row is not to be sniffed at. Should be more commanding for the third though, Jacko should be too as captain though.
Wilson - 6 - Slightly down on his performances of late. He was caught out of position twice, once for the first goal and once in the second half where he pretty much confused Morro and Cousins by not covering his own area of the pitch, similar to Hamer I suppose.
Morrison - 6 - Looked a lot more assured next to Wood. He lost his rag today, mainly with the ref and it affected his performance, understandable really!
Dervite - 6 - Not to sure what to make of that, he was great last week and fitted in with ease but it didn't quite happen for him today and he seemed to upset things at the back.
Wiggins - 8 - The marauding pacey full back of old, great performance.
Stewart - 6.5 - Top class strike. Got into good positions in the first half but the delivery nearly always let him down with countless over hit crosses, shame.
Cousins - 8 - I thought he was quiet last week although today he was much busier, breaking up play and distributing the ball quickly, top stuff.
Jackson - 7 - Ignoring the bizarre moment of the third goal where he should be dealing with it or screaming his nuts off at Hamer which I assume he wasn't, it was a commanding captains performance and it is a pleasure to watch him play for us. Fantastic to see him on the score sheet as well!
Stephens - 7 - It didn't quite happen for him today but he didn't particularly do anything wrong. He seems to have gained strength and speed. Good stuff.
Harriott - 6 - He shouldn't be letting the ref make that decision. Not quite finding the form of last season, maybe it's the fact that he has lost that freshness about him.
Church - 7 - Good performance. Truly great work for the second goal, promising stuff from him especially after his MOM performance of last week.

Yann - 3 - Didn't really do anything? It's a bit harsh to have a mark to be honest, he shouldn't have been on the pitch, he wasn't ready.
  • Hamer 6 Him or Jackson partially to blame for the third. Not sure which!

    Wilson 7 Growing in confidence

Morrison 7 Getting back to his best

    Dervite 7 Solid

Wiggins 8 Looking more and more like the old Rhoys

Stewart 6.5 Half mark for the goal which was excellent.

Cousins 6.5 Much of his work was done off the ball in pressing and closing down

Jackson 6.5 Loses half a mark for his part in their third goal. Encouraging game otherwise.

Stephens 6.5 A bit in an out again.

Harriott 6 Can't fault his effort but needs a bit more nous which will come with experience

Church 7.5 Hardworking performance and good assist for Jacko

Yann 6 Anonymous by his usual standards

Hamer - 4.5 - Only at fault for the third, shocking decision making, all he had to do was claim it.
    Wilson - 6
    Morrison - 6
    Dervite - 6
Wiggins - 8 - Looks like me might have the old Wiggins back, was up down the left flak all game
Stewart - 6 - Does brilliantly to get into crossing positions, then wastes it. Fantastic goal
    Cousins - 6.5
    Jackson - 7 - Captain fantastic
    Stephens - 6.5
Harriott - 6 - Needs to be more clinical
Church - 8 - Great play for the second goal, was our main threat and was so unlucky not to score, fat Kenny can move.

Yann - 4.5 - Clearly unfit, tried as hard as ever though

T'ref - Don't even get me started *throws laptop away in disgust*

  • Hamer 4 at fault for 3 and 4th goals, distribution poor. His confidence undermined by Wilsons back passes.
    Wilson 4
    Morrison 5
Dervite 4 his passing particularly long balls very poor
Wiggins 5 a point extra for for ward play. On a day when the defence gives away 4 goals no one should get more than a 5
Stewart 6 an extra point for the best goal at home so far this season by any Charlton player.
Cousins 6 slightly below his early promise.
Jackson 8, great captain and a player who does not give up.
Stephens 7 good performance in those conditions.
Harriott 6 gave their defence a great deal of trouble and unlucky not to score. But loses a point for the penalty.
Church 7 like the way he plays, gives other chances to score, needs to be more accurate himself.

Yann Not fit to play, Chris Powell wrong to send him on, with the pitch in that state.

  • Hamer 4.5 - The third goal, he should have come out, punched it away, and cleared everyone out. He's a big lad , but sometimes gives the impression he's afraid of getting a bang. Mind you Stroud would have probably given a penalty. The 4th was the real howler. From where I sit in the East Stand, he clearly set up the wall to cover the MIDDLE of the goal. Then, when McCormack hit the ball, his first step was towards the NEAR post. Then by the time the ball cleared the wall, it was too late to readjust his feet.

Wilson 5.5 - Not as good as recent games. Was obviously targetted by Leeds.

Morrison 5.5 - Got riled by the ref, and it affected him. Saying that, both centre backs lost their individual battles.

Dervite 5.5 - I'm a big fan of Dorian, as he is more comfortable on the ball than the other choices, but his passing let him down, and he missed a golden opportunity to score.

Wiggins 7 - That's better! That was a performance of the Rhoys of old. She it was in a poor team defensive performance.

Harriott 6 - A good first half, with a couple of shots when cutting in from the right. After the penalty, he lost the plot. Tried too hard to put things right. A sign of immaturity, perhaps?

Cousins 7 - I think some people miss lot of what Jordan does. His job is to keep things ticking over, and let others play. At one point in the first half, he took on 2 Leeds players singled handed. Was then had a foul given against him. Unlike others, roared his frustration, and got on with it. Goes forwards for corners now, a sign CP is showing more faith in him. Much older head on his shoulders than Harriott.

Stephens 6.5 - Not as good as recent games. Not the best pitch for his style of play, but didn't hide.

Jacko 7 - MOTM Never say die attitude. Captain and leader. Scores a goal, and would die for the cause. Great to see him back.

Stewart 6.5 - Fantastic goal. His crosses were overhit, but may not have been helped by the pitch. Stephens hit a free kick on the West Stand that was also overhit. Knows how to defend, which is more than Callum does.

Church 7 - As usual, a courageous and all-action display. Fantastic battling effort to set up Jacko's goal. The volley he hit in the first half deserved a goal.

Kermogant N/A - What was the point?
  • Hamer 5

    Harriott 6
    Church 7

    Yann 5
  • Hamer 5.5 Not one of his best but not his fault we conceded four
Wilson 5.5 Possibly at fault for their first
Morrison 6.5 Comfortable enough without dominating
Dervite 5.5 A little more unsettled than usual
Wiggins 7.5 Looking much better again at the back and often got across to sweep up John Humphrey-style in the middle.
Stewart 6 Wasn't going well until the great goal but kept going
Cousins 6 A little off the boil since his great start but still plenty to admire
Jackson 7 Moved it on well, tackled and scored (again)
Stephens 7.5 So much stronger in the challenge recently and the skill now shining through
Harriott 6.5 Busy and tenacious if not always spot on
Church 6.5 Typically busy without a particular trick to hurt them. Worked so hard to create Jacko's goal.

Yann 5 Bit harsh because we barely found him at all

T'ref - I'm always reluctant to slag them off simply because of the amount of cheating they have to contend with but having not given Church's possible pen, how on Earth could he give such a dubious one to a team clearly hell-bent on deceiving him? By the end he was just plain annoying.

  • Hamer - 5

    Stephens - 6
    Harriott - 5.5
    Church - 7

  • Hamer 5
    Wilson 5
    Morrison 5.5
    Dervite 5 terrible distribution
    Wiggins 7.5
Stewart 6 Great goal, but terrible crossing
    Cousins 6
    Jackson 6.5
    Stephens 6
Harriott 5 At the time I thought it was a penalty, and the OS seems to think it was as well. Certainly it wasn't a good challenge, as he was on the wrong side of the attacker.
    Church 6.5

    Yann 5

  • Hamer 6 3rd goal - not sure about!
Wilson 7 Decent game I thought
    Morrison 7 solid
Dervite 6 not quite as solid - would bring Wood back for next game if fit
Wiggins 7.5 Almost back to what he was
Stewart 7 Great goal - didn't beat man enough
    Cousins 6.5 Quietly solid
    Jackson 8 MOTM captain's performance
Stephens 7 Thought he was decent, can't be MOTM every game
Harriott 6 Good start but faded.
Church 8 Great game I thought

Ref: 3 was terrible - Ok, can accept - just about - he didn't give our pen - but chokes me that he gave theirs under the circumstances. Took too long to address Leeds tactics in the first half - clearly one of those who hasn't played the game himself!
  • Hamer 4 poor and partly responsible for 2 goals
Wilson 5 not up to his recent standard, rotten distribution and still defensively naive
Morrison 5 he & Dervitte didn't cope with McCormack at all bot undone by fairly straightforward stuff
    Dervite 5 see above
Wiggins 7 MOM almost back to his old self really excellent first half not helped at all by Stewart
Stewart 3 and that's just for the goal the only time he kicked the ball usefully the brief moments he was involved he clattered it out of play
Cousins 6 his relative inexperience shown up by Leeds's more wordly wise (cynical) midfield
Jackson 7 worked his nutts off and took the chance presented
Stephens 6 Brown and co too rough and smart for him today
Harriott 1 for effort we effectively played 10 against 12 cos he ran around like a supercharged headless chicken giving the ball away or shooting off target when there were better options No question about his commitment to the cause but he's a liability - maximum risk for negligible reward especially out of position on the right - we're better off with Pritchard
Church 7 works tirelessly and increasingly effective, brilliant for Jacko's goal

Yann N/A clearly not fit but introduced too late
Sorsell N/A not a charlton footballer

T'ref knows the rules and chooses not to apply them - there is a word for that...
