there is some pace in that pitch. can see us getting most of them out today.
We'd need to get at least 3 and probably 4 before lunch to do that 'cos the ball will be very soft after that.
Especially with Warner spanking it as he does. He'll never "die wondering" will he?
thinking about it, (especially after what you said) a partnership could do it for them. keep it simple and they could ride it out. then again the way warner is playing he could do something stupid as he's being quite aggressive.
Already Team England's obsession with bowlers over 6' 6" is starting to look as if they don't know their ONIONS!
Will be interesting to see how early they turn to Swann. And whether there is anything in the pitch for him because, if there isn't, it could be a long couple of days.

Usually just before lunch, but maybe earlier if they dont take another wicket.
Never seen Watson so circumspect - 14 in 57 balls. Having said that, he does only have two speeds - dot ball and boundary.
He really is a "bowling machine" cricketer at times. Deep mid on must have cut off half a dozen boundaries and he simply doesn't know how to work the ball round.
Watching this and getting a bit dispirited. As someone said earlier on this thread could be a long couple of days. At least that would mean I get some sleep as cannot be doing with seeing us get ground into the dirt. Here's hoping the promised rain arrives and is substantial.
