agreed .. he was manager during (yet another) difficult time for the club and he did a decent job with very few resources, i.e. cash

after that a reasonable attempt towards promotion, that was nearly derailed by his poor judgement of goalkeepers, till a fortunate injury put randolph in goal and helped steady our sinking ship towards the play offs
and then he was doing more than decent the following season with the circumstances , part of his failings had brought us to and i believe it was harsh to sack him but as i said at the time about the board he who dares rodney , he who dares
what is not in any doubt was that he worked with integrity at Charlton and is a decent man , good luck Parky
His achievements in that first L1 season were unbelievable given our lack of resources.
Phil deserved a season with money. I do think he would have got us promoted
Parky is a good man and was honest. The praise of Richard Murray was interesting which makes a few things clearer.
