In previous games (including Forest) I have thought he is exceptionally lazy at times and really lacks motivation. Today he seemed completely different and really did impress me. He went from (in my eyes) a loan player counting the days down till he goes back to his club to a player I would love for us to sign at the end of the season (as if)
lazy and not interested, summed up by him taking an age to get off the pitch
That was absolutely ridiculous. What on earth was he thinking. Playing like we were 1 or 2-0 up, or serious underdogs when we are drawing. That was silly.
He's a good player. He seems lazy but just watch him off the ball. He's looking to make those runs. When the call was played up to him, he was bringing the ball down under pressure and playing it out. I'm afraid a lot of fans will never warm to him due to his poor start.
I thought he was good today, out himself about and his first touch is really good.
There was a moment of magic when he took the ball out of the air with a great first touch, turned 3 Blackpool players and played a lovely little pass to a red shirt which got a round of applause
I thought he made some good aerial challenges today against bigger opponents and I think he has a decent touch , he dropped deep on occasion to get the ball as well I think he is worth persevering with and even more so considering the alternatives! Yann and Sordell are my choice up top when fit

Improved but still ineffective. The defenders were cutting him off by fair means and foul and he never really looked dangerous. Nor did Church, but Church does at least run around a lot which is almost as impressive to most fans as being actually good.
Neither Church nor Sordell has shown enough to partner Yann when he (hopefully) returns in a fortnight. We have to go into the loan market now - hopefully it will be for Obika, if he's fit after his recent injury.
Up until yesterday I have been in the give him a fair crack of the whip camp. After yesterday I am heavily leaning to agree with those that think he's lazy. I just didn't see any desire to go the extra mile to make it happen. Obvious talent there but I'm beginning to see why Bolton have let him go.
I thought he was in and out. If one ball didn't go where he wanted it to he wouldn't make the run the next time, but when he wanted to he looked like he could really make a difference. It's whether he really wants to.
I think we're seeing the difficulty of not having 4 senior strikers. Obika would be one option, but can't help thinking someone with a tad more presence would be a more pressing need.
Some fair comments, almost got into a Twitter row with a Charlton fan for stating how disappointed I was with him yesterday, turns out I'm wrong, abusive, and wasn't at the same game! No! Sordells just a lazy prick and everyone sees it! Bar a few of course, but dare we say anything about someone in a red shirt!
He wasn't great, but I'm pretty sure he was carrying an injury from about 20mins. Was constantly stretching his hamstrings and seemed to be signalling to the bench a couple of times.
Properly annoyed me with the stroll off when substituted though.
Improved a lot the past 2 games. Yes he should of ran of when substituted but I think I would have been annoyed to be replaced by Piggott. Our 2 strikers at the end were Piggot and Harriot. Really ? I thought Sordell offered a lot more than Harriot in this game.

Should never have been subbed too.

I will say he was ineffective and awful yesterday.

Having said that why do we keep banging the ball long to him (particularly Hammer) when he is clearly hopeless in the air.
