Hamer. - 6.5 nothing to do - handled crosses well
Wilson - 6.5 Lost .5 for a poor header tht let them in but defensively a good game overall.
Wiggins - 6.5 Not back to the player he was yet - solid enough
    Wood - 7 Solid
    Morrison - 7 Solid
Cousins - 8.5 MOTM I think we can make it official - we have found a player and a half!
Stephens - 7 I thought he started the game in the same way as Tuesday but faded as the game went on. I thought we won the midfield though and that was down to him and Cousins
Gower - 6.5 One of his better games but he brings nothing to the party
Harriott - 5.5 Was the key player today and wasn't able to give us that attacking spark
Sordell - 4 He wasn't lazy but was pretty ineffective
Church - 5 Works hard but didn't trouble them

    Wilson 7 improves every game.
    Morrison 7 better game yesterday
    Wood 7 solid
Wiggins 7 much better from him yesterday
Gower 6 quiet game but did he's job
Stephens 7 another god game.hope he keeps it up
Cousins 8 mom an absolute gem
    Harriot 5 poor game
    Church 4 where's Leon Clarke?
    Sordell 4 where's Chris Dickson?

The stick Clarke gets on here is ridiculous.church is twice as bad yet people love him.yes commitment is 100% but he is a striker who gets paid to score goals.if I performed like that at work is get the sack.a

Hamer 6 Kept a clean sheet
Wilson 6 loses a mark for putting Ince through at the end it is lucky that it was not costly.
Wiggins 7 Getting back to form over the last few games
Wood 8 As a left footer links up well with Wiggins our best defender
    Morrison 6 Sound defensively
Cousins 8 Excellant display hope he continues to develop
Stephens 7 Looked good,Cousins complements him
Gower 5 we looked better when he was subbbed
Harriott 6 Not looking as exciting as last year as was predicted, still think he offers something different
Sordell 5 Looked good Tuesday ,yesterday looked average
    Church 6 looked busy

Pritchard 6 We improved when he came on

Hamer - 6: not much to do but coped well with the succession of long throws into his box. Hopefully, the clean sheet will help restore some of his confidence
Wilson - 6: a potentially expensive cock up at the end but otherwise sound
Wiggins - 7: decent enough but some poor crosses
Wood - 8: MOM - tough, decisive and reassuring
    Morrison (c) - 7: looked comfortable
Cousins - 8: class. Like all good players, always looks as if he has a lot of time
Stephens - 7.5: faded a little towards the end but did very well, both in terms of his passing and defensively, with some important headers in our box
Gower -5: contributed very little. Not sure that his physical ability and and engine are up to this demanding level
Harriott - 5.5: not much went for him but probably the only player we have (other than Stewart) who can go by players and take them out of the game. Would prefer to see him back out on the left. He will come good
Sordell - 5: very poor. There is a player in there but he has a very unfortunate manner - I don't think I have previously seen our crowd bellow at a player to hurry up and get off when being substituted
Church - 4.5: his confidence appears to be draining away. Dismal shot in the second half when well placed
Pritchard - 6: fairly quiet but at least he can cover the ground

Someone needs to work with Ben (and the rest of them) on his distribtion from the ground. I counted all his ground kicks (GK/FK/clearance etc) that went over the h/w line and from 14 kicks we won only one header (FK in the 66th minute)

Hamer 7 - Nothing much to do for either keeper
Wilson 8 - Thought he had an excellent game
Wiggins 7 - Decent but final ball was too often poor
Wood 8 - A proper old fashioned centre back
Morrison (c) 7 - Solid but not spectacular
Cousins 8 - Best midfielder on the park
Stephens 7 - Much improved in the last few weeks
Gower 6 - Not his best game for us but did make a couple of amazing passes
Harriott 5 - Not his day but never stopped working
Sordell 5 - Really not seeing much from him. Needs to work much harder
Church 6 - Worked hard but no end product
Pritchard 6 - Decent substitute performance with typical high energy

Piggott 5 - Wish he could win a header!!
  • Hamer - 6.5 good claims
Wilson - 6 sleep walked through the first half. Better in second
Wiggins - 6.5 tried to get up well
    Wood - 7 excellent
    Morrison 7 decent showing
Cousins - 7 did nothing wrong.
Stephens - 6 some nice touches, but not enough wormrate
Gower - 5 not very visible
Harriott - 5.5 ran a lot achieved little
Sod-all - 5 some nice runs, but not enough. Needs to appeal more to people that don't know much about football to get his scores up.
Church - 5 worked hard, achieved zip.

Hamer - 6 good save in the second half but a bit flappy still
Wilson - 6.5 nearly gave it all away near the end which marks him down
Wiggins - 7.5 solid never gave Ince much of a look in
    Wood - 7.5 Very solid
    Morrison (c) - 7.5 Ditto
Cousins - 8 man of the match the boy has quality and a super shot to nearly score
Stephens - 7.5 much better I have to say
Gower - 6 Looked a bit knackered towards the end
Harriott - 5 tried really hard but nothing was working for him. he'll get better
Sordell - 5 No impact was well in the pocket of their centre backs
Church - 4 Ditto above but worse doesn't look like he will ever score

Pritchard - 4 all running and no product there is more to playing football than effort. no point in winning the ball if you give it away again.
