Hamer -6 - Lacking in confidence, needs a bit of encouragement. Needs to work on quicker distribution.
    Wilson - 6
Wiggins -6.5 - crossing a bit poor today.
Wood -7 - Very solid no nonsense defending with more mobility than Cort.
    Morrison (c) - 6.5 - solid
Cousins -7 - Fantastic news that he has signed a contract. Played well.
Stephens - 6.5 - bright start tailed off with a few mistakes in the second half.
Gower - 6 - steady without being noticeable.
Harriott 5.5 - muscled off ball, worked hard.
Sordell - 5.5 - looks more part of team - poor service to him doesn't help.
Church - 5 - runs about a lot, but needs to make more intelligent runs. Not helped by high pointless passing. He is not KMG. Needs to work on shooting / finishing / end product.
Pritchard -6 - steadied the midfield, which was looking shaky.

Piggott - OK, not much impact, not a header of the ball, needs passing to feet.
Stewart - looked promising but no real impact.

Good loud support from the Covered End.
Thought ref was good. Let the game flow when he could.

Hamer - 7 - Made one really good save, did nothing wrong and his distribution for the most part was accurate and decent

Wilson - 7.5 - Good going backwards and forward, only made one real mistake when he set up Ince at the death

Wiggins - 8 - Had Ince under lock and key, got forward a few times as well, delivery was lacking but other than that he was good

Wood - 8 - Didn't let Fuller have a sniff, very good partnership with Morrison forming

    Morrison (c) - 8 - Ditto Wood, good game

Cousins - 8 - Not quite as good as Tuesday but still class, great tackles and tracking back as well as spreading it about wonderfully, great player. Unlucky not to score to, great save from Gilks.

Stephens - 7.5 - He might finally be living up to his potential, some wonderful passes and was actually box to box at times. When he did misplace a pass he worked and tackled to get the ball back. Did fade as usual when the clock hit 70 mins though.

Gower - 5.5 - Was off his game today, decent passing but sloppy at times. Lost his man to, however he does allow Cousins and Stephens to work by keeping things ticking over at times

Harriott - 5 - Nothing came off for him, really felt for him, he tried hard but the B'Pool defence had him sussed from kick off

Sordell - 6 - I actually thought he wasn't to bad, he tracked back often and played some nice passes. Him and Church as a partnership just doesn't work though, as neither of them win headers, doesn't help when Sordell is not bothered to jump either

Church - 6 - Same as Sordell, tracked back and a few nice touches but never a real threat going forward, huffs and puffs but when it comes to him being through on goal or a chance he doesn't seem to pull it off.

Pritchard - 6 - Not involved much when he came on, did a few simple passes and some good movement, much improved from the Millwank disaster

Hamer 6 Better, more commanding performance. When he came for the ball, he came for the ball.

Wilson 6.5 ONE mistake the whole game. Solid.

Wiggins 5.5 For me, another average performance. Some truly woeful crosses.

Morro 7 Distribution still suspect, but solid performance.

Wood 7.5 He should not be called Wood, he should be called Concrete. Wastes anybody who comes near him.

Cousins 7.5 Another MOTM performance. Tackled, blocked, passed. Looked dead on his feet for the last 10 minutes, but as there had looked like there were 2 of him on the pitch for the other 80 minutes, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt!

Stephens 7.5 A very good game, did his job defensively, and past the ball well. It was a toss up between him and JC for MOTM, but he did drift out of the game in the last 15 minutes.

Harriott 5 Nothing came off for him today. But I have a question. Would you want him to stop all of the stepovers and dribbles? I don't, it's what makes him such an exciting player. That position that he has been given at the point of the diamond gives him free reign to do that. Keep going Cal!

Sordell 6 I don't understand some of the poor marks some are giving him. He was way better than Church today. OK, not great in the air, but when the ball was played to feet, he set off on a few excellent runs, which usually meant he was fouled. Also, a couple of quality tackles, (one late on, in front of the East Stand, was a beauty) and always looking to play on the shoulders off defenders.

Church 5 One of my favourite players, but what did he actually do today? Won a couple of headers? Set off on a run, where he had a simple pass to set Sordell in, but fluff it? Today, he played in a way that Pritchard often plays, and is accused of being a headless chicken. Some on here seem to confuse effort for ability...

Hamer - 7 - Made some good saves, glad he kept a clean sheet and felt sorry for him at times as every time he wanted to distribute by throwing the ball out he couldnt cos the defence kept their back to him.

Wiggins - 6 - Made some good runs but his crosses werent up to scratch

Morrison - 7 - Strong in Defence, barely lost any headers

Wood - 7 - A good signing from CP and works well with Morrison.

Stephens - 8 - Great first half though sadly faded a little in the second especially when Pritchard was brought on as he seemed to slot back into the middle I think he's most effective on the right (maybe as it means he doesnt have two opposing central midfielders pressing him constantly)

Gower - 6 - Didnt notice him much but he's a good footballer brain, shame the legs are going

Cousins - 8 - Another great game from the young man, only a couple of passes went wild but thats to be expected from the youngster... he'll learn in time

Harriott - 5 - Ran around like a headless chicken today I'm afraid, back to basis

Church - 5 - Continues to run hard but where have his shooting boots gone

Sordell - 4 - He ran about a bit more and would have given him a 5 but his attitude when being subbed was a complete and utter joke... Your not bigger than the club Nemo!!

    Subs
Pritchard - 6 - Am guessing he came on because Gower couldnt handle two games in a week, would have preferred Hughes after his cameo against Forest

Stewart - 4 - Didnt even notice him / Couldnt see him

Pigott - N/A - Sadly won a header which means the squad will think he's able to win them all so means even more long balls will be fired up to him

Hamer 7 dealt pretty well with what he had to deal with

    Wilson 7

Wiggins 7 defending was top notch, let down slightly going forward

    Morrison 7

Wood 7.5 thought he did very well and used the ball sensibly in possession too

Cousins 8 played like the most experienced player on the pitch

Stephens 7.5 continues to look better. really hope he can keep this form up

    Gower 6

Harriott 5.5 not his game. hope people don't start getting on his back too much. don't forget the impact he made last season and how young he still is

    Sordell 5.5

Church 5.5 both him and Sordell need a different strike partner.

For some reason, I missed out Gower.

Gower 5.5 An average performance. No great passing, and struggled playing 2 games in a week.

I really can't separate them this time. Nobody stood out as good or bad but they all stuck at it.

Harriott for example wasn't as good on the ball as he can be but he did an awful lot of pressing off the ball which was instrumental in neutralising Ince.

I could say similar about the others.

If forced to pick a Man of the match I'll say Cousins. Did his job in midfield and had our one credible attempt on goal.
