What do you think everyone?
We would have won last night if wasnt for that mistake. How many points has he cost us? (no seriosuly work out how many points he has cost us)
Speaking to a fellow fan after the match, he did look gutted walking off the pitch after the game and fair play to him but enoughs enough. Recently his kicks against 'wall' were awful and personally he makes me nervous whenever I see that perfect hair cut go for the ball.
So whats everyone else think?

Pound for pound you'll struggle to find a better keeper that we can afford. I'd be interested to hear your choices of possible replacements Flynners.......................
Ben Alnwik
Nick Pope
Alex Smithies
Dylan Phillips (development squad goalkeeper)
Anyone who can catch really
Elliot - better? No
Worner - No
Randolph - probably, but not used.
Deano - Yes, although lots more experience upon arrival
Weaver - Questionable, although experience on his side
Illic - No - just as much a 'liability', but had cult status
Carson quality
Stephen Anderson
Anderson, Rarely used - Prem (maybe)?
My personal opinion is Elliot was no better. I think he got a lot of brownie points for being a fan
He did NOT go on a free!
And do what if urs been done to death!
My point is Hamer makes me nervous everytime hes near the ball, low kicks, poor punches, good shot stopper but to many basic mistakes he was flatfooted for yesterdays goal and he does make the defence nervous
As for Pope, there's a reason he's out on loan at a lower league. Think he has the potential to be good enough for us, but not yet.......................
Not sure why people on here get so defensive about Hamer. You need a keeper to be brave and a bit wrong in the head. Would he square up to Andy Todd? Doubt it.
I'd give Alnwick a chance I think.
Mistakes by a keeper are inevitably costly and thus stick in the mind but I think Hamer is in credit since he joined us myself and there are other areas of the team and squad to worry about ahead of him.
