Pretty awful game. Disappointed at the standard....thought it would be better.

U18s seem to be a major issue in non league football now sadly.

Free entry at Cray Wands tomorrow for the Cray derby if you take your Charlton season ticket, and bring a friend for a fiver0

2 more goals for Pat Casey in Dorking's 2-0 win at home to Horsham this afternoon.
Bless his cotton socks !3 -
Particularly Dartford mate. We’ve got a large group of small nutcases.killerandflash said:U18s seem to be a major issue in non league football now sadly.

Darts won 2-1 away at Chatham3

Went to this today - lots of fun and Cray Wanderers have a very nice set up at Flamingo. Smashed Paper Mills 5-0 and a 40 year old Chris Dickson came off the bench for Wanderers with 10 mins to go!

It was weird. They didn't help their cause by all arriving together!Arsenetatters said:killerandflash said:Lots of Dartford yoof being refused entry today.

Excellent win for the Darts, though helped by some terrible Chatham finishing.3 -
Good afternoon over Flamingo Park, 1,254 over there today0

Did the Richardsons turn up seeing as the twins were out on show south side?0

“You’re going down with the Welling” got an airing @R0TW :-)
I may complete the anti-Cray Valley PM double by following Welling there next Saturday0 -
Went there with the Darts back in the eighties for a Kent Senior Cup tie on a cold Tuesday in December. Walked all the way up that sodding hill and found the game had been called off due to a frozen pitch. Never been back!!killerandflash said:
I'm off to Dartford's game at Chatham tomorrow, a new ground for me.Simonsen said:Chesham v Hemel today and Hendon v Harrow Borough tomorrow for me.
Great win today though - shame we're so inconsistent.3 -
Well that’s put the bokkers on any hope I had of Welling picking up 3 points :-)AFKABartram said:“You’re going down with the Welling” got an airing @R0TW :-)

Hope you bring greater fortune than @DaveMehmet.My god, whenever I see him at a Welling game you have to have a punt on their opponents.3

Pat Casey did very little yesterday, he couldn't get much right. Until he popped up with two excellent finishes. The lad is a bona fide goalscorer.2

Adigun is too good for that league1
-
No idea how Adigun is in the NLS. Scored an outrageous goal at Eastbourne Boro the other week.
Should be playing top end of the National League.1 -
Always remember him being one of the standout players in our youth team, pretty surprised he's had to drop that low down.R0TW said:Adigun is too good for that league2 -
This has always been the kind of enigmatic mystery for me when it comes to Patrick Casey.JiMMy 85 said:Pat Casey did very little yesterday, he couldn't get much right. Until he popped up with two excellent finishes. The lad is a bona fide goalscorer.
I say everything with a mind to him being a very young player.
However I have watched him play a lot of times, and sometimes wondered what all the fuss is about. Then I contemplate the huge number of goals he scores (in the main against his peers) and watch him play a bit meh, and then bosh he scores a goal, often a very good goal. Like a ghost suddenly coming to life or something.
In no way am I making a comparison between them as players, but back in the day Tottenham fans would say about Jimmy Greaves that he doesn't do anything...except score goals.4 -

An hour ago, they tweeted
There is currently no pitch inspection planned for today's game against@wellingunited and we are expecting it to go ahead. We are assessing the pitch every hour and will update immediately if anything changes.
But now they've just tweeted
❄️ Game Off ❄️
With regret, today's match has now been postponed. One of the match officials arrived at the ground early and made the decision after communication with the referee.
We apologise to any supporters who had made plans to attend today's fixture.
So a bit weird really, as clearly the officials DID do an early pitch inspection0 -

Southend's game called off at 12:20. You have to feel for the Truro fans who travelled up today.6
