  • Watching Dartford's top of the table clash at Maidstone this afternoon. 0-0 at half time, and it's not a good one! Virtually no goal mouth incident at all

pitch doesn't look good does it? My son played on it last year and it didn't look like that.

Yes, it looks like it's covered in snow at one end! Seems to be playing ok though

two well taken goals and a bloody awful match apart from that! Well appy though. have a suspicion that two very fit and physical sides cancelled each other out.
  • King does like a physical player. Takes players with him to suit his style. Got to be 6 or 7 at Dartford who were at Welling when King was there. Suprised he hasn't gone for Mendy, Wilks and Coombes, yet. Good manager though.
  • Surprised no mention of Josh Davison earning a last minute draw for Woking @ home to Yeovil?
  • Welling currently 2 1 up at home to Billericay after going 1 down after 4 minutes.
  • Finishes 2 2
  • where are Welling in the league ?

From what I've seen Dulwich could be the one
  • On the BBC site yesterday it was said that fans may be allowed into grounds in December.
It's amazing how clubs are not allowed to accommodate 100 supporters but then the professional game can accept thousands.

  • would like to get Falconwood view on whether it is a good idea to have semi professional football at the moment , I am hearing on so many outbreaks at clubs atm, is it a good idea to have up to 20 people living their seperate lives then getting changed in a confined space and then going into a bar afterwards.
  • It isn't just the players I am hearing of so many committee members associated with these clubs becoming infected, these are invariable older people who run these clubs.

I just heard about Dave Driver from the board down at Phoenix, and Alf. Known them since I was kid.
  • Welling United have had a positive COVID test meaning the team has to self-isolate, and their next four matches are postponed...

I know mate hearing about them both has hit me very hard, DD is genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever met and Alf as well, just think it is a huge ask for these clubs to carry on in the present climate.
  • My nieces boyfriend plays at Ebbsfleet they have both tested positive

Crap, that’s gonna screw them up, had a bad start already

In that case why are they not isolating like Welling are? Is he a first team player?
  • Darts win 2-0 so slight recovery after that disappointing 1- 0 defeat in the week
  • Sussex and Essex leagues starting again on the 5th December.  Kent League the 12th December.
We'll have to enjoy it whilst it lasts, lockdown 3 looms in January.
