Eastbourne were due to the start the league season against Dorking on the 6th. Was quite looking forward to going down there to see the national league south favourites in action.
Tick Eastbourne Town, a cracking little ground.
Honestly, I find any football below national league south too poor quality to watch. Been to various div 9 matches and think they are terrible. Might have to venture to the county leagues soon, but was hoping to stick with national league south.

The football can be shocking but the overall package of visiting new places, a hop and a few beers it's all good. Invariably admission, programme, a bite to eat and a couple of drinks boosts the coffers by £20. Both parties win.
Been listening to commentary of the Whitley Bay v Witton Albion FA cup (my daughter's boyfriend plays for Witton). The commentary sounded like a gang of mates having a laugh, barely any commentary at all but a great listen . Been warming to NL for a while, far more honest football than what the prossesional teams serve up!
Hartley roasted Erith last night 5-0. Erith held out for about 25 mins then it was 3-0 at HT. For those doubting the quality of football at this level this was superb.
My 3rd game in 4 days. At Bromley tonight to see FA cup game between Cray Wanderers v Fisher. 3-1 to Cray with minutes to go.
This is known as the Cray Fish Derby.
"We are Fisher no one likes us"
The Millwall boys are in great voice.
Tbf the Spanners have a good away following. I saw Fisher at K Sports two seasons ago and they brought about 20, in the Kent League most away teams do not bring any.
@ElfsborgAddick Tonight they had about 50 fans behind the goal. ATT 302. Bradley Pritchard was playing for Cray but was harshly booked after 4 minute and was withdrawn after 21 minutes. Must've had a knock but you couldn't tell why ?
After yesterday's fun, I had another fun day watching my daughter's boyfriend play for Witton Albion against Radcliffe (kept an eye out in case I came across any Bury fans - AFC Bury now play there). Anyway Witton won 4-1 with said boyfriend scoring a hatrick - might just tweet Tommy to see if he needs a decent striker 😉.

I doubt it's a wind up. Dartford's FA Cup tie vs Slough on Saturday is behind closed doors, but their bar is open for 40 fans to watch a live stream. So being indoors in a bar with limited numbers is okay but limiting numbers going into a 4000 capacity ground is not possible.

Welling were selling £20 season tickets for kids. Bought one for my daughter, won't even bother trying to refund it, they're welcome to the money.
Came on with Henley losing 2-1 yet they won 3-2
