I was told on another thread, in no uncertain terms, that showing women your soft understanding side would only lead to you being treated like a c**t. Going by the answers here I think he could be wrong.
She regards it as a complete waste of life and doesn't understand why I spend so much time on it although, to the best of my knowledge, she's never been on the site.

Nope, he's right. You proved it.
I like you because you are for the most part more honest than most, but implying you know more about my relationship than me is a bit silly.
ps. I must admit I'm a bit thick and didn't understand your answer :-)
I use it at work so she doesn't know. Why would she care though? Its a sports forum. I'd expect her to get yhe 'ump if I spent hours on here in the evening though.
C. but she is a Charlton fan herself and always asks if there's a new Whose Rack. She loves the sexist comments (so she says). I can't be making enough of my own.
B- but does have a giggle at some of the stuff I pass on to her. I don't think she always gets the whole Charlton fanatic thing, but has always been understanding about my addiction, even when I sat crying on the bed after hearing the play off result and we'd only known each other about 6 months.
the Lass is on Charlton Life and although she rarely contributes she does accompany me to all the matches and sings along with everybody. Before we married I took her to the Valley and told her that our relationship had to include Charlton, and it does. She's the best.
Very interesting to read chaps. Really surprised that some other halves don't even know about it.
I've shown my wonderful lady some threads on here where I've literally been brought to tears by fellow Lifer's stories. She's joined me in those tears more than once.
I think that's why I get levity to browse once in a while.

He could be a She for all we know......
(sorry OP).
But then again she hates Owltalk too, and isn't aware of CL.
By the way does that make me a 'lifer'?
;-)

Red murph tears of laughter or sadness?
