So another transfer window comes and goes. We keep our best players. Sell or loan out the struggling ones and sign players of better pedigree. Sack the board. They do not have a clue.

Fair comment.
Given our financial situation this is just about the best result we could hope for from the window. Contract situation is still a worry, but I believe there might be progress in that area too soon.
Happy with this Green/Stewart deal. But if we are to stay out of trouble, we need to see Stephens delivering on a regular basis.
Don't know him. Not sure about people who say "only 1 goal" or "he's not prolific" - that's not his job! His job is to get the ball into the strikers. They do the scoring. A better measure would be his assist rate.

I'll reserve judgement on him until I've seen him play although, as a winger, I'm not sure how he'll fit into a 3-5-2 formation unless he's a wing back?

Doubt we'll see him unless its 442 being played. Doesn't look the sort of player that would be comfortable as a wing back.

With Watford and the spanners up soon we'll surely be sticking with 3-5-2 for a while so hard to see where CS will fit in other than as an impact sub. Just possible that MK came in for DG first and CS was recruited as cover, good business if so. Don't think SCP susceptible to a panic move for the sake of any move... Hopefully CS will spring off the bench an hour into the game at Vicarage Rd, set up 2 and score another in a famous victory
in CP we trust I suppose. Just as we did with Danny Green.
Green did OK in the League 1 championship season and was part of a very successful side for which he should be remembered positively.
But he's never done it at Championship level (despite numerous and extended chances before you say it) so like Taylor, Hollands, Hayes, Wagstaff, BWP, etc from that team he moves on. Good luck to him.

He's been on our radar for a while it seems, so I doubt it's a reaction to Green going out, especially as Green as played this season

If Jackson cant stay fit I could see him playing at the top of the three CM's with Pritchard and either Stephens or Cousins behind especially at home.

Well Watford also play 3-5-2 so maybe we'll match them.

If we don't compete in midfield with them we"ll get stuffed.
Text my HCFC (not Tigers) season ticket holder mate about him. For what it's worth, here's his opinion:
KKB: Cameron Stewart. Any good? HCFCSTHM: At the moment, poor. Still recovering from cruciate injury. KKB: What about before that? Any flashes of brilliance, decent player in there somewhere? HCFCSTHM: Yes, he was great until then. Pacey and tricky with good feet and a decent cross. Help him get better, Addicks. KKB: So he had an end-product then? Not a Blind-Alley Bertie? HCFCSTHM: Yep, once we signed him even Jay Simpson popped in a few goals.
So it seems to me his fitness is the key, but assuming that all checks out and Hull simply can't accommodate him right now as they've stepped up a level, it looks like we could have a very good player with a decent pedigree on our hands - especially as our strikers don't mind a cross or two coming in. I for one am looking forward to seeing him.

agree. we played a narrow 4-4-2 against them last season and were superb in the tackle, they couldnt handle it. We also looked dangerous everytime we went forward. Be interesting to see what CP does. Hope he doesnt just stick to 3-5-2 cos we won our last game like that. Each game and opposition is different.

The comments from Hull fans back in March seemed pretty positive about his potential
