GOOOOOALLLLLL! Muldoon makes it a double! His first half-volley came back off the bar but he was there to put in the rebound 2-1. (OG) #cafc
  • His first half volley? That rebound took ages to get back to him.

  • thanks MoG
  • Enjoyable first half, second half dropped in standard with the changes, as often happens in friendlies. Poyet, Sho Silva & Azeez all impressed. Some good passing and build-up play prompted by Poyet in the playmaker role in CM. The front two were a handful during the first half and just lacked accuracy in their shooting to capitalise.

    Who gave away the penalty?
  • Evina
  • Clear off Euell u ain't having a contract
  • It wasn't evina, was one of the strikers, think azeez but definetly wasn't evina.

Poyet looked very good. Has some class and can certainly pick a pass. Not sure who number 11 was that came on but he was terrible.

Liked the look of that jack munns, can't really recall him given the ball away, always played the simple pass and certainly has some skill.
  • someone on here said evina earlier hanballed it

    Evina

He's complaining on twitter about CAFCofficials tweets saying it was him that gave it away though.

He's already got a charlton contract.

  • My fault on the Evina penno thing. There was a bit of confusion in the press-box and it was all agreed that it was Evina stemming from the fact he was the one arguing with the ref. It was in fact Azeez (we think)

Not as a player he hasn't

  • Bob, you don't really think Euell wants a playing contract do you?
  • It was a joke people. I was taking the pee! Example "Euell is in the squad maybe he is trying to earn another contract!! LOL LOL hah aha"
    Joke. Get it!!

    Cheers mate.

As Evina's probably leaving soon can we just it was him who gave away the pen ?

For some reason Dr Kish thinks he is signing a new contract this week.
  • It was a pleasure to see the U-21s, a rarity for me. We walked along the Medway from New Hythe station, pit-stopped for a sherbet at Aylesford, and spotted a foot-long turtle (terrapin?) basking on a rock just below Allington Lock. After five miles we got to the ground a bit late and missed the first goal, but I was quite impressed by our midfield and some of the forward moves, especially in the first half. What a surprise to see Jason Euell again! Quenching ales in Maidstone after the game, and we admired the old streets and buildings, but were appalled by all the new roads whizzing about. They hired Bernie Ecclestone as a town planner!
  • The reason that Jones and Euell were in the squad, and 3 trialists, may have been forced on them, as the U18s had a pre-season friendly against FAYC winners Norwich yesterday.

They won 4-0 by the way...

Excellent! All of our teams are doing well, so far....
