    Thank you all for all your kind thoughts and messages, much appreciated. Pity in his books we couldn't get Bent and Parker back to the Valley! I will treasure the day myself, Kate and Smudge were at The Wycombe game to see us lift the championship 1 trophy.

    Memorable day 12th July 1985, the day before Live Aid, the day before my wedding day too....Smudge took to celebrating too early and got a bit carried away! Always liked his Banks' beer, tonight though I have raised a bottle of tŵo of San Miguel.
