To start at the beginning he was born in Maidstone on 24 November 1993 although one website has him as being delivered in Lille, France two years earlier.
And it is, according to Charlton at least, PIGOTT. One G and two Ts.
At 6' 2" he also passes the Charlton Life height test. Just.
He comes from Addington. Thankfully this is Addington in Kent rather than the more down market version in Croydon or the even more down market New Addington next door.
While Ade Azeez and Tobi Sho-Silva took a lot of the limelight Joe kept on scoring goals both for the youth team and for the U21s. He also impressed during a loan spell at non-league London Club Bromley FC.
As well as playing as a striker he has also played at the top of a midfield diamond and is a talented cricketer, having played once for Kent Academy.

Keep those goals coming !
We now know that Joe Pigott is 'Stone's' eldest son's wife's sisters boyfriend.

That lol should have been a "col".
BTW Hope they live happily ever after.
Seeing the goals on FLS, he just got the rub of the green which was much deserved, like Michael Smith he will have a career in 1 or 2. As for the championship, it may be a step too far but at 20 he has still got time on his side to improve.
Hope Joe's dad who would drive all over the country, on the off chance to watch his lad get a game for cafc, was in Newport yesterday to see the brace.
