I heard that he is on his way to us for a season-long loan with 'option' to buy at the end of it.Ianaddick62 said:Obika not in Spurs U21s last night perhaps he is on his way to us?

That would be brilliant news, if it turns out to be true. Obika made a really good impact and gave CP some options last season.GreenWithEnvy said:Ianaddick62 said:Obika not in Spurs U21s last night perhaps he is on his way to us?

That's true but from memory don't think Cousins has gone out on loan and he looks very comfortable at tier 2 level. It will be good for him and other graduates to have league experience!cafcdan18 said:Would be good to see Jordan go to a League 1 club and get some experience.
Not sure he has played about Conference South so would be a big step up.

Would be a good signing, but feel that strikers aren't our main priority at the moment...may take wages away from a potential defence or midfield signing.GreenWithEnvy said:

QPR now have a much better squad than when they were in the prem ..WSS said:Saw Matt Phillips joined QPR today from Blackpool. They could be looking for another striker soon, probably could get them as well if they offer a contract that is longer than 9 months.

What we need is a ball carrying midfielder to turn defences around and slot balls through to the strikers- assuming they're making a run - somebody like Andy Reid0

I should imagine Levy is pretty peeved about the Bale transfer - so won't be letting any players go on the cheap!Bubble said:

my pal is a big spurs fan and he reckons they are dragging the Bale situation out until they've completed all there signings so the selling clubs don't inflate the prices knowing they've just got £90mValley11 said:

Read on twitter that Tie Bi is a done deal and that we might be going in for Craig Gordon (released by Sunderland)0

If I was Real Madrid and have been watching spurs spending my money before they've actually got hold of it I'd be inclined to lower my offer quite a bit.

Craig Gordon was a quality goalkeeper a few years back and would surely take Hamer's spot. Maybe it means Hamer is being touted around by TJ.0
-
IF (it's a big if) the Gordon rumour was true, surely he'd want a pretty hefty wage for a 'keeper. Not that he isn't/wasn't good, but I don't if he's good enough to pay wages we could give to a midfield leader type - hypothetically of course.0

Craig Gordon was excellent - £9m a couple of years ago. Seems to have gone seriously downhill since then though0

cant see any of these rumours on there!0

Thought Craig Gordon had retired?0

Released last summer from Sunderland and spent a year coaching. Probably a fat scottish mess right now.Danny Addick said:Thought Craig Gordon had retired?
