Up to 9th and only six points off play offs and I bet many are thinking "we're on a roll now" could we make a dramatic return. Although nice to dream,I honestly feel that would do us more harm than good. Took us a while to ajust to this division, which makes you understand that be building on what he has now will then make us into a much stronger side for a real searious challange next season. Also I'm not to sure if the funds required to build now for the premiership would be available. If we did get there,we would probably come straight back down, when we go up we want to stay there this time. We've got a good base to build on,provided we can keep the best and bring in good strong players, lets face it we want automatic spot...not play offs. So although its nice to dream, lets get it right this time and go up in stile.
Well done to the lads today and CP and his staff.......a fantstic result.

That seems to have been achieved comfortably and we can now hope to move on for next season.
As said before, if the home/away results had been reversed there wouldn't have been anywhere near the moaning.
It can only benefit the club - I don't see a downside.
1. No chance we can get to play=offs
2. If we do, then take it with both hands, and see where it takes us.

Saying going up would do us more harm than good is the same as the stupid statement when were in Prem "Maybe a drop down to the Championship for a season will do us good so we can re-group"
For goodness sake at least show some ambition rather than just accepting our inherent mediocrity.
I said in the prediction thread that we will win yesterday and all our other games get in the playoffs and get promoted!
I honestly don't think we will but wouldn't it be nice!
