Nope we are four points shy.
  • Win all our games somebody will slip up
  • Nada. Let the next few weeks be a preview for next seasons adventures.
  • Take it a game at a time, if we beat Cardiff on Tuesday & the others (Forest/Bolton) slip up - it will make Saturday v Wolves interesting.

  • I'll be overjoyed if we can finish on 9th.
  • But not as overjoyed as if we made the playoffs.
  • It would be nice but we have to win 4 tough games.
  • Would a draw and three wins be enough ?

  • It's the hope that kills you!

Cardiff will be very nervy on Tuesday (Ironically I think todays score line will concentrate their minds and not help us at all) remember back to when it was us in that position? After Cardiff it's a good run in for us on paper but of course we play on grass (where there is grass anyway).

Cardiff just need 1 point for promotion so they might be on edge and blow it Tuesday.
  • chance to relegate 2 teams in our last 3 games, although Brizzle probably be gone by then

Them needing just one point might just work in our favour. Might get caught between two stalls and not play their natural game. I doubt it though. Anything we get at Cardiff will be mightily well earned.

  • I'm guessing the Cardiff game will be very heavily policed now as I suppose they'll be expecting a pitch invasion if Cardiff get the point they need against us on tuesday
  • Yann Kermorgant to score a last minute chipped pen on his return to Cardiff.
  • Try not to think about it then you wont be disapointed
  • I think given our current form and knowing how jittery Cardiff get when they are this close we could easily nick a point and maybe 3...I will happily take a point at Cardiff then 3 more from Wolves then breath a sigh of relief and enjoy the final games of the season 61 sees us safe am I right?
  • Cardiff needing only a point can only inure to our advantage. A very tough game but we are a very tough proposition away from home.

The Play-Offs are unrealistic ( even in this ridiculous division ) but it would be great to finish well and bump up our season ticket sales - given the inequality of resources and the huge disparity in investment, we need every season ticket holder we can get. It would also be great if we could give one or two of our youngsters a taste if CP thinks they might be ready( even if it's only bench warming )

According to the link below we now have 0% chance of relegation and will have 1% chance of promotion IF we beat Cardiff

Each game as it comes - only way!

  • Mid table mediocrity would be a great season in my eyes.

21st would be a good season and we look set to better that.

I just made some predictions based on the above and even if we were to go unbeaten the rest of the season we would still miss out on a playoff spot finishing 8th.

    Predicted finish

    Brighton 73 points
    Bolton 70 points
    Forest 67 points
    Charlton 67 points
    Leicester 66 points
  • How about..........
We sneak into 6th spot, beat Palace over 2 legs keeping them down, play Brighton at Wembley and let them stuff us.
We stop Palace going up and send their rivals into the promise land.
  • That's a winner

Would be heart breaking. Fortunately it will never happen.
  • Forget the play offs, let's see if we can put 7 past Cardiff.
