Maybe a bit optimistic - but I believe in my boys and I know , we all know, we can beat anyone in this league when we pull our fingers out.. 5 games remain the hardest of them all is Cardiff away but look at what happened when they came to our valley! So ifwe took maximum points from our final 5 and end up on 69 points and maybe a few results go our way we could / should be in with a shout.
Opinions? Hopes? Fears? Come on you Charlton!

I would say that we should be looking at Top Half (11th or 12th) as our 'top target'. Now that would be a fantastic achievement.
Id rather not sneak into the playoffs and heaven forbid blag our way into a wembley final only to get hammered there....
aim to finish on a high to take momentum into next season and give us moaning lot something to smile about during the off season.
We need to let this one go. Creating false expectations is going to do nobody any good. Regroup and try again next year.
My personal target for this year was 21st, and I would be delighted with a top-half finish.
But 60 points would be an exceptional return of points no matter the position.
that would Be my aim.
At the time moving to Bolton seemed a strange move, but now that decision isn't looking so bad...
Or was it a Norwich or Southampton?
It's a bit galling to think of the position we could have been in, if we hadn't conceded late goals at home to Huddersfield, Sheff Weds and Birmingham - there's another 6 or 7 points we should have had on the board.
But regardless of our current points total, I believe being placed around 12th reflects well the progress of the team.
If we spent even 5 million, and increased the wage bill by maybe 20% we could be a very decent championship outfit and seriously compete...
I'm not even confident that we will be in the mix considering our poor form.
