  • He shakes hands and hugs every opponents manager at the start of games. One of the most respected men in football, anyone agree?

Nah. He's a clown. I read it somewhere.

Kerkar whipped in a couple of decent crosses, one found Kermorgant at the back post for a free header which he would've buried on another day. CP knew what he was doing and it almost paid off. Unfortunately it didn't. Luckily his next change did. :-)
  • Palace fans are being highly critical of Holloway because he reacts too quickly in their opinion. I thought he out thought Chrissy at Sellout, when we should really have won that game - but it shows you that sometimes you are damned if you do and damned if you don't.

I think the issue is, that the defence is generally pretty good, but it doesn't operate at its best when overrun. We need to have a tactic where opponents fear us getting in behind them if they play to high up the pitch. What we can do, is give them a sense that we aren't to bothered about getting another and it allows them to take more risks.

Isn't it about time Henry invited Chris Powell to Bromley Addicks?

Knowledgeable fans (like the bloke behind you) can then tell CP how to manage the team, sort out his tactics and time the subs better.

    ;o)

Wonder how long the before the stripeys turn on holloway when they dont reach the promised land.
  • I've been told I focus on the negative a bit (on more than one occasion) but I always want us to win. There are times I can accept we can only get a point or are beaten by a team who are a lot better (Forest game springs to mind) but I am proud we have Chris Powell as manager and proud we have a very likeable group of players here. With the usual exceptions they may not be the greatest in the division but the team spirit is there for all to see. I was worried when I saw Kerkar coming on, but as it was it turned out OK with Obika. We've had enough bad luck this season it's good to get some good coming our way.

I thought it was great to see Chris Powell taking time out & going over to the young academy players after the game , and having a word , would certainly inspire me if I was an academy player to always give my best and hopefully get noticed, particularly as he could have just legged it down the tunnel, sums up my affection for the fella , he makes everyone feel a part of what's going on, loved it when he kissed the bonce of one of the balding stewards as well :-0
  • We can expect Chrissy will have a good insight as to what is needed next season. The question is, will he get the support he needs and deserves.
  • just didn't see the point of it. Fuller off and Obika on yes but why bother with Kerkar at all. Just my opinion. I am allowed one I think.

Obviously to thoroughly confuse the opposition , as it did most of us watching, my dear Watson.
