Love the bloke. If he sticks around and plays another 50 or 60 games he will be regarded as a legend of the club I reckon. Plays with pride, scores important goals, led the team through our highest points total.
I love jacko he epitomises everything I want in a charlton player
People bang on about his pace but he is the first name on the teamsheet for me, not just cos he is the skipper but those goals from midfield are invaluable, especially when we don't have prolific strikers
I hope he stays at the club when he is done if coaching is the route he wants to go into
Great skipper and key member of the team and squad and appears to love being the Charlton captain, hope he is around for a while yet and his legendry staus will be assured
Top man on and off the pitch, gives 100% on the pitch and is a key reason behind the team unity on and off, is more than happy to supply me with dodgy questions for his team mates, and made Glove Pups year recently by giving him a lift to the ground. Hope he stays on after he finishes playing.
Been a brilliant signing and is probably the best finisher in the squad. As for goalscoring midfielders (those that could get you double figures or near enough...), we haven't had that many. In my time, I can think of;
Robert Lee Alan Pardew Nick Bailey John Jackson
Just outside that category;
Martin Robinson Colin Walsh Mark Kinsella Paul Mortimer John Robinson
Earlier in the season I thought that he was past it. He looked well off the pace and lacking in motivation. Moved inside he is a revelation and has been one of, if not THE most consistent of players this season. Well done JJ and keep it up.
Lovely photo on twitter with his baby, must score tomorrow for his boy.
Aw ! Don't do twitter but would love to see that ! Congrats JJ - you're the daddy ! The only player to my knowledge that's attended a Supporter Group Q & A and asked for a cuppa !

Its lovely, i would post it, but its a very private photo and not really my place to post it here. His wife posted it though if you go on her profile (google johnnie jackson wife twitter and it should come up)

All that comes up is some half naked hench black guy. I assume that's not his other half.

He knows that Saturday's game is important to us - let's hope he fires-up the lads.

Also congratulations to our skipper - His wife has just given birth to a baby boy, maybe another Jacko in a red shirt in the future!

I've heard all that childbirth malarkey can be just as tiring for the blokes as well............
Johnny jackson is a great example of the sort of player that you should want playing for you
