Well, that was a match between two very poor sides, it was truly a league 1 game (at best). You thoroughly deserved your win, you were very well organised, restricted our (non-existent) attack to......em, no chances and your Manager got his tactics right on the day (can we swap Managers please?).
I am extremely disappointed with our performance and the deserved defeat as a result, however, if you are going to get beat then be it by a Team like Charlton who did not dive and cheat (bit of time-wasting yes, but hey we would have done the same). A Team who were workmanlike, well organised and got the three points you deserved.
I have left that ground furious this season when Teams like Brighton and Watford have `whinged` and `dived` their way to a victory, not today though. The ref (unlike at your place when we had many a disgraceful decision against us including a sending off) was very good today.
That victory has sealed your stay in this division and I am pleased for you, I really am.
Under this joker Robins, I fear it may be some time before we play you again.
All the best.

I'm hoping that after today, we're not one of them & I hope you're not either.
All the best.
But no chance on the proposed manager swap I'm afraid!
Personally I hope that you guys stay up - the last few matches against Huddersfield have featured some good football and I'd like to see that rivalry continue next season. For all the promoted sides this year is about survival and finding your feet in a higher league, as with us the Robins will be a better team next year.
Hope we both stay up lbtf
Good luck for the remainder
Apologies if it came across the wrong way, I really did not intend it to.
I was trying to accurately summarise a poor game all round that was won by the best side on the day. No smarm intended whatsoever.
Thanks for all the other replies to my original post, I like Charton and truly am pleased you are staying up (and yes am gutted that we could not get at worst a point today).
Hopefully we'll both be playing each other again at this level next season.
Good luck for the rest of this season hope to see down your team down the Valley in the next one.
Again, all the best to your lot - my favourite of our promotion rivals last year.
We ve got an affinity with your club following the 7-6 in 1957 and I hope you stay up.
We are still two league one sides trying to move on the right way all 3 clubs will stay up strengthen next season and move on
Great report from yourself and very humble
Well appreciated
How is Adam Clayton playing? And Novak-always thought he could've been quality.
Best of luck. Sat in your end at Wembley last year and clapped you on.
Ur spot on were on a learning curve riding on our league 1 performances trying to find our way in this very unforgiving league.
If u make a mistake every team in this league has the quality to punish u for it.
Hope u stay up at the expense of the massives!
I think there's little to choose between most of the teams from 8th downwards. No team has been cut adrift, which is odd for this stage of the season and tells me that the margins are very small. Between the likes of Boro and, for instance, Barnsley there is next to nothing.
So we have a tight league, lower in overall quality than normal and yes, Udders could yet make the drop. But 7 or 8 points should see you safe and I genuinely hope you get them. You're a proper club with a good history and a decent bunch of fans. Robins could yet turn out to be the right man.
Wish you well.
Great to hear some gracious comments though and much appreciated. Good luck for the rest of the season.
However, that Palarse reject with the "My Little Pony" barnet does your Club NO favours at all . Hope he's out of contract soon !
Re Robins, nothing really against him as such, just the wrong appointment at the wrong time.
We had `Club legend` Mark Lillis in interim charge and he had us playing again and I am certain would have assembled the points to get us over the line. Why oh why did we not give this Guy the job until the summer I will never know. It is a decision I fear will prove very costly. With the greatest resepct this was a match we were targetting for points, along with Peterborough, Millwall and Barnsley at home (Barnsley last
Barnsley last match of the season and it could be a stadium-filling who-stays-up decider that one). We also have Bristol City and Wolves to play away.........................however!, our next three games are Leeds away, Hull at home and Bolton away and I would take three points now but fear we will get zero.
Robins has not had the impact he was supposed to have had on arriving here and tactically, we got it wrong yesterday as you cannot play any Team at home and not have a shot on goal. If we were still playing now we would not have scored, never looked likely to.
Not sure what your run-in is like but ours aint too bad really, aint too bad if you have a Manager that can pick the right Team from the start, get the Players, playing for him and only a minor point but perhaps a shot on goal may help along the way.
