lives miles away never goes to games but knows what's going on in the boardroom, the training ground, the dressing room, the pitch and every other aspect of the club.
That forum is hilarious. Sometimes i don't know if they're being serious with the total written diarrhea i read on there.
To be fair there's some good eggs on there (Isn't one of the admins an 85 odd year old bloke in France? Top lad in that case, don't know a soul that age that can use a computer) but most of the regulars there don't have a clue. I mostly post stuff about reams just to sit back and watch him have his kittens, I am a sad, sad man.
Anyone else see him tell some one to F off and tw*t and calls posters on here bullies. Couldn't make him up, bit like acworth in that respect.
The whole Powell thing on there is strange. Some on here feel a change of manager might be appropriate but Powell is blamed for everything except the whole in the o zone layer on that forum. It's like he's the devil and anyone who backs him is one of his demons who doesn't like the truth.
POWELL OUT. He is at fault for this in some way isn't he.
If they do get a CAFC fan to do this, will they really be a fan, or someone who wears the colours, goes to a few games, but doesn't mind missing going to the smallwall game. The 16th has been circled on my calendar since the fixture list was announced, and would think that would be the case for everyone else.
Just found out that the woman representing Orient is the daughter of an ex colleague of mine,
What's she like? It may sway me.
Bobble hats are back in by the way!
LOL
Really nice woman who is married with kids.
I often go there as I live half an hour walk from Brisbane Road and I think whoever does this will be impressed with their Supporters Club bar which is within the main stand as they are a really friendly bunch. For the last three years they even let me in for the Charlton games.
As I said on another thread the downsides about Orient is that in my view their fans are a lot more negative than we are, almost comparable to my other casual team Barnet. Also after three years of League 1 football I'm afraid this season has reminded me of how much I missed us being at least in the second tier.
He was right about needing another level of creative players when you get promoted. Its fine playing 4-5-1 away and being more conservate, but you need better attacking players when you're playing at home.

We're the "big" club.
