  • time for him to f++k off to a smallwall board.
  • "thanks, i may have to give that a shot. my friend who has never been to a match was hoping for a premiership game and the atmosphere and stadium size that comes with it. charlton offered a similar experience in that i thought the atmosphere would be fun and the stadium is 27k. looks like out of those three leyton orient is the biggest at 12k which may or may not offer him the atmosphere he is looking for"

good effort and persistent but the above just doesn't sit right...piss take, yes?
  • Trev, Redskin or anyone else who believes him. Buy some tickets for him then. What have you got to lose (other than your season ticket)?
  • There will be loads of spare tickets for the away end if we keep up our current form.

No, he sounds like an American to me. Call me gullible but I'm a believer. Not going to get him tickets tho as have known to be wrong on many an occasion!

    Riot away...
  • "The Thin White Duke was David Bowie's 1976 persona and character, primarily identified with his album Station to Station (released that year) and mentioned by name in the title track, although the 'Duke' persona had been adopted during the Young Americans tour and promotion. At first glance, the Duke appeared more "normal" than Bowie's previous incarnations, wearing a stylish, cabaret-style wardrobe, but the massive amounts of cocaine he consumed during this period made his personality, or at least the personality he displayed during interviews, more alarming than it had ever been. At this time in his life, he said that he lived on "red peppers, cocaine and milk".[1]

Impeccably dressed in white shirt, black trousers and waistcoat, The Duke was a hollow man who sang songs of romance with an agonised intensity while feeling nothing, "ice masquerading as fire".[2] The persona has been described as "a mad aristocrat",[2] "an amoral zombie",[3] and "an emotionless Aryan superman".[4] For Bowie himself, The Duke was "a nasty character indeed",[5] and later, "an ogre for me".[6]"

I hope so. Didn't go last night but have heard it was abysmal. No fight, no passion, no heart, no energy. Worrying.
  • Sounds like our home games
  • He sent me a message and when I accused him of being Millwall his response was 'Holy Shit, I'm an American'. So, on that basis, I'm half inclined to believe him. No self respecting Brit would say Holy Shit
  • Millwall are not self respecting

  • good work Sherlock....

maybe one of our American based addicks could call him to suss it out?

I am more than happy to talk to.any american based fans you trust or if any of them are in NYC then meet up with them and buy them a drink to chat.

Also if anyone is willing to help out I'll call you as I'm happy to pay the long distance charges. Like I've said I'm quite willing to prove that I am who I say I am
  • Well frodo that is a fine offer and you are going to lengths to prove otherwise

  • Hang on, If your in London for the weekend, and your a west ham fan, why not try and get a West Ham ticket for their Sunday game against Chelsea?

I was going to go to west ham at Chelsea when it was scheduled for Saturday but when Chelsea advanced in the Europa league the match was moved to Sunday at 4pm. Unfortunately my flight home is from Heathrow at 6.30 so no way I can go. That's the reason why I'm scrambling looking for tickets now as I was hoping Chelsea would lose and I could go to that match before it got postponed

  • Well frodo that is a fine offer and you are going to lengths to prove otherwise

I've been guarding this ring you gave me for almost a.full day now!
  • Am i the only one here that thinks this guy is actually telling the truth?

He's too persistent to be a spanner.
  • No offence, but no one in their right mind is going to get you a ticket for a game against that lot, especially when no one knows who you are.

    Hard lines.
  • I believe him, actually feel sorry for him with the abuse he's getting on here.

I would contact the club directly fella for the cheapest hospitality package.

I tried that at the suggestion of someone on this board but unfortunately it didn't work
