Had high hopes for him but overall think he's been v disappointing. Spent most of yesterday's game moaning and doesn't look fit. Has he been 'charltonised?'.
I don't think he has the required desire to do it week in week out anymore. We see flashes of what was or could be but not much more. Can see him departing in the summer. Pity.
Is it fitness or coaching , had high hopes for him , his performances have dipped considerably since the Palace game , hope he can stay professional and raise his game again & be the 'hero' that sees us safe in this division.
A message for Ricardo , please don't try and do it all mate , reminds me of the annoying kid in the playground that was half decent , but would never pass the ball.
Doesn't help when the ball is pumped up to him from 60 yards away.
The service at Charlton is shite
I believe this to be the correct answer. Play it to his feet he can make things happen play it In the air then it's pointless.
I agree, yesterday he was stuck up front on his own with the ball flung at his head for most of the match, which just doesn't suit his style. He was getting so frustrated near the end, and I couldn't blame him. If he'd had another striker next to him to relieve pressure from defence, he could have got the ball down and caused some not particularly impressive centre backs some trouble. As it was, he ended up facing two or three players on his own, I don't know whether he was ever good enough to do that, and certainly isn't now he's passed his peak.
Comparing Ricardo to Jimmy is unfair. He may be past his best but I don't get the impression he is just with us for the money. Play to his strengths and I feel he will deliver the goods for us.
He needs it to feet. Not over his head, 50 foot up in the air and falling down with snow on or smashed at head height which seems to be dervite's speciality. We do not have enough players who are either intelligent or composed enough to realise this.
Fuller had a poor game yesterday, but in no way can he be compared in effort and quality to Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink who in terms of wages paid and effort put in, was easily the worst player to have ever worn the Charlton shirt.
When he came it was seen by Powell as a statement of intent by the club to our rivals. Don't think Fuller really knew what he was coming into to be honest and nor did we the fans. Not sure at all what will happen in the summer? Sell our best player and replace on the cheap or bring in quality players? I doubt Fuller will stay?
Is he a nominee for this weeks scapegoat? Bit of a harsh thread I would say. No point slagging him off when he gets no service. The only negative point I have was that he got penalised for a few pushes into their defenders when, surprise surprise, the ball was lumped up aimlessly to him. I'd get a bit fed up if I had to keep jumping up in the air to gain possession.
Comparing him to jfh is stupid, fuller has been brilliant at times p'boro, Ipswich, Watford palace etc 10 times more technical ability than the charlton god kermo. Getting service from dervite ,pritchard and playing alongside obika might have played a part in him having a bad game. Honestly I do wonder what game some of our fans watch.
our strikers have to create their own chances as well as score the goals. If he moans don't blame the messenger. And the message is our midfield isn't doing it's job.
Ridiculous to compare Fuller to Hasselbaink. Hasselbaink is one of the absolute worst players I've seen play for Charlton and Fuller is no where near that bad. Fuller brings flair and creativity to the team that we do not have anywhere else.

The season stoke reached Europe they actually played some decent stuff.
Fuller needs the ball into his feet but with the midfield we have its never gonna happen unfortunately.
