Oh what short memories some of you on here have - the reason you left the sidings all those years ago was because of dwindling attendances etc about 7,000 or so! A lot of us Lions fans were vocal in getting you lot back to the valley - remember the article in the local rag, referring to the councils priorities, pointing out that a Nelson Mandella convention (hypathetical) would be given immediate perference if it were ever suggested....Now I wonder who wrote that???
Oh do fuck off !
Ain't you got an undersized new Wall shirt to try and skin on over your beer gut?

have a lovely day out tomorrow and make lots of new friends 'cos you'll probably never see them again.
Semi finals should not be at Wembley regardless, the return of tickets proves that, any other premiership ground (Villa Park as muted) would have been a sell out, better atmosphere and got rid of most of the glory hunters. They wonder why the FA cup has lost its appeal over the last few years, A Wembley appearance has been watered down by holding semis there.
The semi-finals are at Wembley because the FA use the cash to repay the loan it needed the build the bloody thing. I needs to stage as many events as poss there...

Oi Soppy Jones...truth hurt?
Yes if you say so. So tomorrow evening I will be mourning a demoralizing loss to Barnsley and you will be glorying in a winning performance at Wembley.
But please do not spout the usual Spanner revision of history on here. You talk bollocks as always, but not on here. Go and enjoy your day out and leave us alone to sulk.
Never mind the weathers changing, and whilst we are enjoying our day out at Wembley you can relax in your deck chairs at the end of London Bridge platform and duly unwind noting down all those engine numbers! We may even wave at you on the way home!
Well once I realised we were in the presence of a comedy genius I went and found some work to do.
He must be so excited about tomorrow, must take a least 2 gallons of face paint to do the whole family though, it's a big expense this success in the cup lark, not for us!

I am aware thats the reason, but its short term thinking IMO, they may have a bumper pay day with the some of the semis, if they get lucky, but clearly tomorrow isnt going to to be what they would have wanted or expected. And the longer term effect on the earlier rounds will ultimately cost them more money as people fall out of love with the FA cup, due to it being diluted by holding the semis at Wembley, as has been proved with attendances over the last few seasons, getting to Wembley is no longer seen IMO, as the holy grail and special.
This is nothing to do with the spanners being there, I would feel the same if it were us, no semi finals at Wembley I say.
I cant be arsed to look, but does anyone know if every semi final at Wembley has been a sell out, or just a few?
To be fair it's impossible to have a good crowd with Wigan they will struggle to sell twenty thousand in the final , tiny club but big ambition
And they've already had their moment in the sun with all those 17th places finishes in the premier league, why would they need to turn up for a cup semi-final?
